Hi thank you for viewing my truck.I have owned this truck for 3 years. The truck runs great.I just did a full tun up at 70k miles.I also replace catalytic converter. There are NO check engine lights on at all.I own a pepperidge farm cookie route and that's what i used this truck for.The exhaust as no leaks and brakes are fine. The interior is perfect just like new .Passanger seat was never really used i worked alone.I took great care of this truck.I leave for work at 4 am i allways had to make sure it ran great because there were no mechanic shops open at that time to fix it .I made it my job to keep this truck running healthy at all times.Back door opens and closes easy no need for extra force.Suspension is perfect .I carried cookies what kind of damage could have put on a truck?lol. It feels like new.NO noises or tricks to make it run .the body is real clean no dents but some minor lil scratches.Only thing is a crack on the front bumper on drivers side about 7 inches .Its not a hole, its a crack .The bumper sits fine .You have to walk up close to truck to see it.The only thing the truck needs its 4 tires .They are not shot but can use a new set soon.Feel free to come see and drive it.NNNNOOOO it was not hit by hurricane sandy .Its parked in a truck lot no where near the water .I been useing it everyday.Im selling it because i need a bigger truck since twinkie went out of buisness i am blessed that my buisness is doing great so i need a bigger truck.Price is to sell .Oil change was just done about 500 miles ago just needs a new owner. You can see my feedback I dont play games .I explained my truck as best as poss.I took pictures with my phone sorry they are not that clear. If you want better ones just ask .I will take them and send them to you.any questions please call 646 2089294 johncarlo

2015 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra can tow up to 12,000 pounds
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Think back to the launch of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. At the time, General Motors happily trumpeted that its fullsize pickup could tow up to 11,500 pounds when properly equipped - impressive stuff, no doubt. But now, revised tow rating practices have been put into place, called SAE J2807. And with these new methods of testing, GM can now officially rate both the Silverado and its GMC Sierra twin as being able to tow up to 12,000 pounds.
Of course, not all Silverado and Sierra models are capable of this feat. In fact, because of SAE J2807, most of the truck models have actually had decreases in tow ratings from the 2014 to 2015 model year. For example, a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab with the 5.3-liter V8, 5.7-foot box and 3.73 rear axle was rated at 11,200 pounds in 2014, but has since been reduced to 10,800 in 2015. Same goes for the Sierra.
But for 2015, both the Silverado and Sierra can be had with a more powerful 6.2-liter V8, as well as a Max Trailering Package that includes a 9.76-inch rear axle, heavy-duty rear springs, revised shock tuning, improved cooling and a new trailer brake controller. There are also four- and seven-pin, bumper-mounted connectors, a trailer hitch (duh), and a G80 locking rear differential. This configuration, with either model, is the only way you can actually tow 12,000 pounds.
GMC goes to the dark side with Terrain and Acadia Black Edition
Fri, Mar 23 2018GMC recognizes how many of its SUVs are customized immediately after purchase. It's not uncommon for a big SUV to be ordered in black, and then to receive a murdered-out look on top of that: black wheels, black tint, black trim. According to GMC, roughly 1 in 5 new SUV buyers gets their new vehicle customized, and to better serve those customers, GMC is now saving them the trouble of doing it aftermarket. As per GMC's statement: "Black Editions answer the specific desire for a blacked-out effect and come direct from the factory ingrained with distinct personality." Both the 2019 GMC Terrain and Acadia will be available in the special "Black Edition" from this summer on. They both feature blacked-out grilles, roof rails, mirror caps and trim. The Terrain's Black Edition, available on SLE and SLT spec, gets 19-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, and the SLT-only Acadia Black Edition gets 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents. Despite the name, the Black Editions are both available in four colors other than just black — even if those are mainly shades of grey with an option for white as well. Related Video:
GM expected to debut two new crossovers at Detroit Auto Show
Thu, Dec 15 2016Next month, General Motors is expected to debut two new crossovers at the North American International Auto Show. That's according to Automotive News and The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the successors to the aging Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain will finally make their debut. The two crossovers have been on sale since 2009 and 2010 respectively and are due for updates as the competition has newer models on the market. Both crossovers play in growing market segments where sales success is crucial for the respective brands. GM, and the automotive industry as a whole, has been shifting its focus towards crossovers in the last few years. The Traverse and the Terrain are some of the oldest SUVs on the market and are in dire need of an update. GMC's Acadia, the former corporate clone to the Traverse (and Buick Acadia), switched to a new platform in 2016. And the Terrain's platform-mate, the Chevrolet Equinox, was revealed a few months ago. Both the new Chevy and GMC models are expected to go on sale late in 2017 as 2018 models. Look for a follow up to the Traverse's sister, the Buick Enclave, to make an appearance soon.
