1979 GMC Jimmy with 1990 chassis , motor, front clip.
It's basically a 1990.   I have only Owned for 3 months bought it for a 4x4 me an my son could enjoy and cruise local hills trails near our home and after 2 months of work... Replacing broken transfer case , had 3 inch heavy drive shaft built, got smogged  and brought registration current my son hates it !!!!!

The good
New radiator
Replaced transfer case
Heavy duty 3" drive shaft
3 90% tires 1 100% tire general grabber red labels
Runs good strong and 4x4 works has both drive shafts connected and functioning

The  Bad
It's big and ugly :)
Has dents and scratches everywhere even some bondo popping out.
Interior is dirty stained has small holes maybe even burn marks
The Tint is old and has a purple color to it
A/C is not working but all complete , Heater core is bypassed I assumed it must be leaking so previous owner bypassed.
Speedometer does not work and the odometer does not work there is no wires hooked to sensor on trans as it is electronic and I have not had time yet to trace the wires.
Missing or broken window nobs seat plastics passenger side marker light.

More info.
The Jimmy is very fun to Drive has a huge lift and practically new tires one is new as I popped last week and had to replace, would make an excellent mud truck or trail rig as I have taken it out and climbed some big hills in 4x4 to make sure she is running properly. I also drove 70 miles on the freeway to make sure she is dependable and road worthy.

The best part
Current smog
Current Tags
Clean title in my Name
All the expensive stuff I have replaced in past 3 months that was broken such as transfer case, driveshaft, radiator, tires, etc
Has nice head unit stereo w a remote but needs new speakers.

Please ask if you have any questions I will  tell you the honest truth I don't like surprise

I'm confident someone will love and enjoy this truck as a driver or possibly paint and clean it up into a beauty , unfortunately I have lost interest after my 6 year old took one 4x4 trip w me and cried he felt unsafe and thought we were gonna roll so I plan on selling to use money towards a RZR .

I'm listing with No reserve as I have no use for the vehicle
Buyer must pay $500 reserve within 48 hrs of auction ending and the rest to be paid in cash when vehicle is picked up, Local pickup Only.

Black Friday could power record November sales

Thu, Nov 26 2015

Black Friday allows some shoppers to line up in the wee hours for doorbuster deals on laptops and TVs, but the day after Thanksgiving could mean huge profits for automakers this year, too. Multiple industry analysts predict record growth for the industry for November, and the upcoming incentives could help those numbers. TrueCar predicts that Black Friday incentives could provide a major boost, and it estimates a November sales jump of 3.9 percent from last year to a record for the month at over 1.35 million vehicles. As examples of potential deals, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC plan to offer up to 20 percent off some models, and FCA US has no-interest financing for up to 75 months from its brands. "Consumers are excited about Black Friday promotions and these month-long events appear to be resonating with car buyers." Eric Lyman, TrueCar's vice president of industry insights, said in the report. Black Friday only recently became a big day for auto sales, according to an analysis from Edmunds. Last year, Thanksgiving weekend posted double the sales as any other weekend in the month. The company predicts a sales volume of over 1.33 million vehicles for November. If that happens, it would be the beat the previous record of 1.32 million sales for the same month in 2001. Some forecasts temper the gains for November but only slightly. Kelley Blue Book predicts flat year-over-year sales at 1.3 million vehicles, but that's largely because there are two fewer sales days in 2015 versus in 2014. "Black Friday deals on vehicles have grown in popularity in recent years, and should be a big contributor to this month's sales results," said analyst Tim Fleming in the study. The combined research from J.D. Power and LMC Automotive have the lowest November prediction among this group at just over 1.279 million sales for the month versus 1.299 million in 2014. However, once the researchers adjust the figures for the two fewer selling days, 2015 could actually be seven percent higher than last year. TrueCar Finds New Auto Sales in November to Reach Monthly Record Black Friday promotions bolster sales gains; industrywide incentives up 6% from last year November 24, 2015 12:11 PM Eastern Standard Time SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TrueCar, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUE) projects total new vehicle sales, including fleet deliveries, will reach 1,352,500 units in November, a 3.9 percent increase from a year ago and the highest ever for the month.

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
