Up for sale is my Black 2007 Envoy Denali. I am the original owner of this car and it has 78,000 miles. This car has always been dealer maintained and I have recently done the following work to it:
In 2011 I put on new tires and they are still in excellent shape
In 2012 I installed a new battery
In 2013 I had the dealer install new front brake pads and rotors.
The car was just picked up from the detail shop and brought directly into my garage. It had a complete detail including interior shampoo of the carpets, conditioning of the leather seats and surfaces, wash, clay, polish and wax the exterior paint (including door jams), wheel well detailing, wheel polishing, and the engine bay was cleaned.
This car is in excellent shape both aesthetically and mechanically. Compare this to the cost of a new midsize SUV at $40,000 - $50,000. This car will provide you with many, many years of reliable and practical transportation all while looking great!
I can personally attest to the fact that this car is awesome in the snow. I also own a GMC Sierra and GMC Yukon and I can tell you that of the three the Envoy is the best in the snow.
This car has the Denali package and therefore is loaded, here is the list of options:
5.3 Liter V8 Engine (16mpg city, 20mpg highway)
4-wheel drive (high and low) and full time Auto All-Wheel drive
Air Conditioning (blows ice cold!)

Dual Side Airbags
Dual Power Leather Seats with 3-level heated seats
Driver's seat has a 2 position memory seat feature

Power Steering with tilt wheel
Adjustable pedals
Bose Premium Sound System with CD and Satellite Radio

There aren't many of these cars around and certainly not in this good of condition. This car won't last long and I encourage you to see it for yourself. Please email me and we will setup a time to meet. Please note, I will not ship this vehicle. The buyer is expected to pickup the vehicle and pay the balance in cash.
Thanks,
Mike

GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings
Thu, 31 Jul 2014The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.
Watch GM's new pickup crash its way to five-star NHTSA ratings
Thu, 09 Jan 2014General Motors has just scored a big win with its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks, acing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration New Car Assessment Program. The two full-size trucks had already netted a five-star Overall Vehicle Score in their crew-cab variants, but the new testing certifies them as five-star trucks in both regular and double-cab bodystyles, so GM's trucks offer top ratings across the board.
"Our incredibly capable trucks have been engineered to be some of the safest," Gay Kent, GM's general director of Vehicle Safety and Crashworthiness said. "We've designed the vehicle structure, strategically placed high-strength steel and developed the occupant restraint system to achieve high levels of safety performance."
The scores mark the Silverado and Sierra as the first pickups to net five-star scores since NHTSA beefed up their testing regime in 2011, a nice feather in GM's cap as it continues to slug out the pickup truck wars with crosstown rivals Ford and Ram.
GM cutting back on powertrain warranty citing lack of interest
Thu, Mar 12 2015Generally, when a manufacturer offers a long, high-mileage warranty, it's a sign that it stands behind its products. On top of that, it's generally a selling point for consumers, who can rest easy knowing that any catastrophic failures will be picked up by the manufacturer. Considering those facts, it does seem rather strange that General Motors is slashing the mileage warranty on model year 2016 vehicles from Chevrolet and GMC. Instead of offering consumers a 100,000-mile warranty, GM will now only offer a powertrain warranty up to 60,000 miles. The five-year warranty period, though, remains unchanged. GM will also cut the number of free services being offered to Chevy and GMC owners, as well as Buick drivers, from four to two. "Through research, we have determined that when purchasing a new vehicle, included maintenance and warranty rank low on the list of reasons why consumers consider a particular brand over another," explained a memo sent to dealers by Chevrolet VP Brian Sweeney and his GMC counterpart, Duncan Aldred, and obtained by Automotive News. "As a result, we have benchmarked our competitors, reviewed our current offerings and have concluded the following modifications to align closely with our customers' needs and expectations." While the move might seem odd, Sweeney and Aldred are right – according to Automotive News, Ford, Honda and Toyota each offer a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. As for what the money saved by trimming the powertrain warranty will go towards, a GM spokesperson simply told AN that the company will "reinvest the savings we will realize into other retail programs," some of which have been requested by consumers. What are your thoughts? Would a 40,000-mile reduction in a new vehicle's powertrain really turn you off from buying one? Even if it matched its competitors? Is GM better off spending its money elsewhere? Have your say in Comments.
