2004 GMC Envoy XL SLT. Remote start, sunroof, interior is clean except for rear carpet has a spot where pool chlorine spilled and ate the carpet(in picture), leather seats( no holes or tears), 3rd row seats, towing package, newer goodyear tires, new rear shocks, new rear brakes front breaks are good, 4 wheel drive works fine, on star equipped, tinted rear windows, transmission works good, fresh oil change, air conditioner just serviced & had blower motor resistor replaced works fine, variable timing solenoid also just replaced. Vehicle was in 1 minor accident in 2010 in a parking lot where someone hit the front bumper from the side and damaged it enough that it needed to be replaced. Work was done at a profressional auto body shop and the incident had no effect on the integrity or the structure of the vehicle.I am being honest and listing what i know needs to be replaced; drivers door door check( part that makes door open and close smoothly makes noise and is a common problem with envoys and trailblazers). Part is around $50 and is easy to install. Check engine light is on due to needing a new thermostat (just had it to shop). Thermostat varies in price, but found the cheapest at around $30. Radio has a cd stuck in player and only speaker that works good is drivers door( never looked into why). This is all i know of that it needs and again I'm being totally honest. I am listing pics of any type of dings or imperfections on the body. All dents or scratches have been caused by parking lot mishaps from someone else. Passenger door has a small dent, passenger side front bumper(plastic) has some scrapes or scratches but not indented, same side rear bumper has a scrape in the bumper which is indented on the scrape, This has been a great car for our family and has been very dependable. Reason for selling is the purchase of a new car. I am listing for what i believe to be a great deal for someone and have left room for items to be repaired by buyer and is still a great deal. I will try and answer any questions that you may have quickly but will not be near a computer on the weekend. This is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this at any time. Thanks for looking.

2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 spied for the first time
Fri, May 4 2018It's been a big year for truck debuts. Since January, we've seen the new 2019 Chevy Silverado, 2019 Ram 1500, 2019 Ford Ranger and the 2019 GMC Sierra. Just last week, we drove the new 2018 Ford F-150 Power Stroke diesel. The Silverado, Ram and Sierra HD variants will soon follow. We've even seen a teaser for the Silverado 2500. These new spy shots give us a pretty decent look at the upcoming 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. Like the Sierra 1500, the new 2500 model looks to be more than just a Silverado with a new face. Even through the camouflage, you can see it has a grille roughly the size of a regulation football field adorned in a sea of chrome. Both the front and rear fender have some significant flares, but it's hard to tell if this is just the covering. It's difficult to tell if the truck has the new MultiPro tailgate, but expect that and the new CarbonPro carbon-fiber bed to carry their way over. We've already seen the dually version of the Silverado. The Sierra 3500 should arrive alongside the other HD variants. Expect a mix of aluminum and steel bodywork, just like the light-duty models. We expect a full reveal sometime next year. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
GM considering new powertrain options for large SUVs
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Aside from the new General Motors offerings, there's not a whole lot of action going on in the fullsize SUV segment. That doesn't seem to be stopping GM from pushing the envelope in the market as Automotive News is reporting that the automaker is looking to introduce some new powertrain options into the Chevy Tahoe (and Suburban), GMC Yukon (and Yukon XL) and the Cadillac Escalade - all have been redesigned for the 2015 model year.
Now, we already know that GM and Ford are collaborating on nine- and ten-speed transmissions for a broad range of applications (including the big SUVs), but this new report says that GM is also considering other options as a way to one-up the competition and, of course, to optimize fuel economy. AN quotes Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer for GM trucks, as saying that "interesting powertrain technologies" are coming including a return of a hybrid SUV and possibly even a diesel engine. Although it sounds like the latter could come down to how customers respond to the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel.
These are the cars with the best and worst depreciation after 5 years
Thu, Nov 19 2020The average new vehicle sold in America loses nearly half of its initial value after five years of ownership. No surprise there; we all expect that shiny new car to start depreciating as soon as we drive it off the lot. But some vehicles lose value a lot faster than others. According to data provided by iSeeCars.com, trucks and truck-based sport utility vehicles generally hold their value better than other vehicle types, with the Jeep Wrangler — in both four-door Unlimited and standard two-door styles — and Toyota Tacoma sitting at the head of the pack. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's average five-year depreciation of 30.9% equals a loss in value of $12,168. That makes Jeep's four-door off-roader the best overall pick for buyers looking to minimize depreciation. The Toyota Tacoma's 32.4% loss in initial value means it loses just $10,496. The smaller dollar amount — the least amount of money lost after five years — indicates that Tacoma buyers pay less than Wrangler Unlimited buyers, on average, when they initially buy the vehicle. The standard two-door Jeep Wrangler is third on the list, depreciating 32.8% after five years and losing $10,824. On the other side of the depreciation coin, luxury sedans tend to plummet in value at a much faster rate than other vehicle types. The BMW 7 Series leads the losers with a 72.6% drop in value after five years, which equals an alarming $73,686. BMW's slightly smaller 5 Series is next, depreciating 70.1%, or $47,038, over the same period. Number three on the biggest losers list is the Nissan Leaf, the only electric vehicle to appear in the bottom 10. The electric hatchback matches the 5 Series with a 70.1% drop in value, but since it's a much cheaper vehicle, that percentage equals a much smaller $23,470 loss.
