This is an exceptionally well maintained 2003 GMC Envoy SLT. You will see from the pictures that I maintain a maintenance book with all the records of past service (I'm a bit retentive). This SUV has all the options to include
* Power Sunroof
* Heated seats
* Premium Sound System by BOSE w/rear seating controls
* Multi Disc Changer (6 disc)
* Power Everything including multi-directional seats
* On board air-compressor
* Headlamp washer
* Rain Sensor Windshield Wipers
* 17" premium wheels (polished)
I bought this Envoy from my brother at 78,000 miles. Over the last 36 months I have performed the following work: Oil Changes every 3000-5000 miles (synthetic oil), replaced rear coil springs, Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch, Serpentine Belt replaced, Right and Left Ball Joint replaced (et al), all lamps replaced with HID, New P245/65R17 tires (michelin), Replaced rear window regulator, Rear axel pinion bearings and seals replaced. Minor fender bender to passenger side. Front passenger side fender and front bumper replaced with OEM.
There are two observable flaws in the finish: the rear bumper and rear lower plastic on drivers side (behind the rear wheel well) there are scratches (please see pictures), and the cross-member supports on the roof rack are fading (black paint). I contacted a body shop that said it would be better and more cost effective to replace the entire rear bumper versus trying to refinish the plastic and repaint.
I love this Envoy. The only reason I am selling is to pay for child custody fight. The title is clear. I AM ALSO LISTING THIS VEHICLE LOCALLY SO I AM RESERVING THE RIGHT TO END THE SALE EARLY IF I RECEIVE AN OFFER FOR THE "BUY IT NOW" PRICE.

GMC doesn't care if it's Mt. McKinley or Denali
Tue, Sep 1 2015GMC is getting a mountain of free publicity from President Obama's decision to rename the former Mt. McKinley back to Denali in Alaska. The truck-and-SUV brand is happy to see the moniker of its high-end trim in the news, but doesn't intend to change any marketing because of the switch. "It had no impact or change on our strategy," a GMC spokesperson told the Detroit Free Press. The brand doesn't expect sales to change, though the frequent use of the word Denali in the news in a positive light amounts to free, albeit temporary, advertising for the company. Denali is the word for the nation's tallest mountain in the Koyukon Athabascan language, and it means "the high one." In 1896 a prospector rechristened the peak Mt. McKinley to support presidential candidate William McKinley. He won the election, but was assassinated in 1901. The title stuck, and the site officially got the name when a national park was created there. Since then, there has been a push to return to the original moniker, and according to the Free Press, the park became Denali in 1980. Now, the peak has followed suit. GMC started using Denali to denote the top models on the 1999 Yukon. Today, it's available as an upmarket alternative on most of the brand's lineup. J.D. Power: Mini, Lexus again offer most satisfying sales experience
Thu, 29 Nov 2012JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
2014 GMC Sierra [w/video]
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Big And Boxy Might Be Best
As immense fans of the Back to the Future trilogy, we sometimes like to envision an alternate timeline in which General Motors had killed off GMC and kept Pontiac instead. The G8 GXP would still be on the road handily beating German sport sedans costing twice as much, while the lowly G3 would morph into a true subcompact-killer based on what is now the Chevrolet Sonic RS. While we're at it, let's go ahead and imagine the G6 has become the best-selling car in the US and the Torrent crossover is selling 20,000+ units per month. Far-fetched, we know.
The thing is, these fanciful statements would have to be true to make the case against keeping GMC. Pontiac may have offered more excitement than GMC, but money talks, and a full line of trucks, crossovers and SUVs have made a lot more money for GM than the arrowhead brand ever did. How much? As we learned last month, about two-thirds of GM's global profits came from its fullsize trucks, and GMC's trucks typically have thicker margins than their Chevrolet counterparts.
