This is an SLT Model, VERY, VERY, HARD TO FIND, Look Closely, most are Cloth

This 2 door Yukon is one of a kind, in almost brand new showroom condition.  Look at the photos.  The interior was completely gutted and redone from scratch, the exterior was completely redone including paint, new front grille, suspension leveling, new tires and rims, new trim and moldings, even stickers.  While this truck is from 1996, it shows and runs like it is a brand new truck!

Items of note:  This is NOT a NEW Truck.  This is an 18 year old truck.  I have brought this truck up to date on all mechanical and functional items and it rides and drives like a new vehicle. 90% of the truck parts are new or restored OEM parts.  Aftermarket parts are the rims and Magnaflow Muffler only.  I do have the original rims and tires if you do not like the aftermarket rims and tires and will put those originals back on the truck for delivery if you prefer.  The headliner was not replaced and does have a couple nicks here and there but I did not see that as a big deal.  If you want that replaced to new, I can have that done for you for an additional charge. The truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early should it sell before auction ends.

Please bid strong, this is an exceptional truck like no other.

YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER RARE 2 DOOR IN THIS KIND OF SHAPE AND CONDITION

Video Number Two - Running Around Town, in 35mph zone, 45mph zone, 70mph zone.  I did not baby the ride to show everyone how smoothly this truck runs, you should be able to hear the gears shifting.  There is no rattle, swaying, shimmy, etc in this truck.  She is ready to roll as if off the showroom floor.  Come drive it for yourself if you are close by!  If anyone has further questions or needs, please feel free to ask.  I am an honest seller and sold many cars on ebay with folks SHOCKED at how clean they are.
Thanks for looking!

GM files to trademark name Badlands

Mon, Feb 23 2015

If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon. GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.
