YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1995 GMC YUKON 4WD SUV THAT IS IN UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION TO BE 18 YEARS OLD. HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SOUTHERN TRUCK, SOLD NEW IN S.C AND REMAINED THERE AND GEORGIA, UNDERSIDE IS AS CLEAN AS THE TOP. NO RUST EVER. IT IS THE MUCH DESIRED AND RARE 2-DOOR MODEL, SLT LOADED OUT WITH EVERY OPTION INCLUDING LEATHER. THE EXTERIOR OF THIS VEHICLE IS THE ORIGINAL WHITE AND SILVER TWO-TONE PAINT FROM GM, ONE SMALL SCRATCH IS THE ONLY DAMAGE I CAN FIND. NOT EVEN A DOOR DING. I REPLACED THE HEADLAMPS AND SIGNALS DUE TO YELLOWING AND JUST DIDN'T CARE FOR THE GMC LOGO IN THE FACTORY GRILLE, SO I PUT IN A BILLET ONE. FRONT BUMPER IS IMMACULATE, REAR IS A BRAND NEW GM REPLACEMENT DUE TO SMALL DINGS ALL ACROSS THE BOTTOM. HITCH AND TRAILER BRAKES INSTALLED AT SOME POINT. EXTERIOR NEEDS NOTHING, JUST HAD IT DETAILED AND WAXED, SO SHE IS GOOD TO GO. I JUST PUT A BRAND NEW SET OF HANCOOK 265/75/16 TIRES WITH MAYBE 100 MILES ON THE NOW. NEW REAR WHEEL CYLINDERS AND BRAKES CHECKED WHEN I HAD THE OIL AND TRANS FLUIDS CHANGED. 4WD SHIFTS IN SMOOTH. INTERIOR IS OUT OF THIS WORLD CLEAN ALSO. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE INSIDE IS THE DASH WHERE THEY ALL CRACK ABOVE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ABOUT AN INCH. FRONT SEATS HAVE NEW REAL LEATHER FACTORY GRAY REPLACEMENT SEAT BOTTOMS, NOT CHEAP COPIES. TOPS ARE PERFECT AND THE ORIGINALS. REAR SEAT IS ORIGINAL AND DOESN'T LOOK TO HAVE EVER BEEN SIT IN. CARPET IS NICE, TAD DIRTY, NOT WORN OR STAINED. HAS FACTORY FLOOR MATS, FRONT AND REAR. HEADLINER PERFECT AS WELL. 5.7 LITER 350 ENGINE PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY, PAST OWNER GAVE ME A CHECKBOOK WITH OIL CHANGES, INTAKE GASKET REPLACEMENT, ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER, ETC. A/C JUST SERVICED AND ICE COLD. DUAL FLOWMASTER EXHAUST OUT THE REAR SOUNDS GOOD, TIPS ARE GONNA NEED SOME LOVE SOON BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT. I'VE GOT ALL THE PAPERWORK TO PROVE THIS IS THE ONE TO HAVE IF YOU LOVE THE TWO DOORS LIKE ME. THESE ARE GETTING IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH THESE MILES AND IN THIS KIND OF SHAPE. New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Wed, 17 Jul 2013In the real world, the Super Bowl MVP gets a Chevrolet Corvette. Last year's MVP, Joe Flacco, took delivery of a C7 Corvette Stingray after leading the Baltimore Ravens to victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
In the video game world of the Madden NFL series, the Super Bowl MVP gets a 2014 GMC Sierra Denali. Why no Stingray in the video game? Because GMC inked a deal with EA Sports for the truck and SUV builder to be named the official vehicle of the football video game's twenty-fifth anniversary edition.
The new Sierra Denali will be joined by the Yukon, Acadia, and Terrain in game, with stadium promotions for the brand throughout the season. Yes, even when you're beating the hell out of your buddy who insists on playing with the hateful Cowboys, you'll be seeing commercials. (Hold your keystrokes, Cowboy fans. We're just kidding. Sort of.)
GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
