Lifted 2002 GMC Sonoma ZR5 Crew Cab SLS Low Miles, 119XXX

This vehicle was bought new in 2002 and has been in the family since.  I am the second owner (my dad was the first) and I know about all of the maintenance that has been done on the truck.

Options:  This truck has leather interior, Heated front seats, Dual Front Airbags, ABS Brakes, AM/FM CD Cassette, Nerf Bars, PW/PL, Cruise,
Cold Air, Heat works, Daytime Running Lamps, Fog Lights, Dual Exhaust, Tow Package, Topper, Bed Liner, Luggage Rack

New Within the Past Year:  4.5 inch Lift (2.5 inch Rough Country Suspension Lift, 2 inch Body Lift)
Cold Air Intake less than 500 miles.
New Brakes on Front and Rear less than 500 miles.
New Cap, Rotor, Plugs and wires less than 1000 mile.
New Oxygen Sensors less than 1000 miles.
New EGR less than 1000 miles.
New Muffler (Raptor) less than 1000 miles.
New Tires (31x10.5x15) less than 500 miles.
New Wheels (15x8) less than 500 miles.
Alignment and new Idler Arm done less than 500 miles.
Also have new Lund Soft Tonneau Cover for truck bed when you feel like taking the topper off.

The Bad: The front driver's seat leather is cracked on the left side of the seat (Seen in Pictures).  Also there are a few small dings and scratches that have developed over the years.  The front bumper cover is faded a little as well.  Everything else on the truck works well

The truck is a great running truck and has low miles for the year.  It sounds good with the dual exhaust (Stainless Steel Tips).  It has a powerful 4.3L V6 with automatic transmission.  This truck is not driven as we have too many vehicles.  It does get started and ran everyday to keep fluids running through it.  Miles will not go up.  KBB values this truck retail at $8700, but since it does have a few minor flaws I am starting the bid at $7500.  If the winning bidder does not want the new wheels and tires, I will keep them and reduce the final price by $600 and throw in the stock aluminum wheels and tires (which have 50% tread life).  Serious Inquiries ONLY!  As I said before, I know everything about this truck.  If you have questions, please email and ask.

Payment: Buyer must contact seller within 24 hours after auction has ended to arrange payment and pick-up.  $500 deposit required within 24 hours after auction has ended unless other arrangements are made between buyer and seller.

2017 GMC Acadia adds four-cylinder and All Terrain model

Tue, Jan 12 2016

General Motors has officially started the process of updating its long-in-the-tooth fullsize CUVs by unveiling the second-generation GMC Acadia at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. While the Acadia is 700 pounds lighter, it's also shorter and narrower, which means it's not quite the people mover it used to be. You'll no longer be able to haul eight passengers, although there will still be five-, six-, and seven-passenger offerings. While families might not be thrilled with the loss of a seat, the lighter weight is a net win. Not only will the V6 model feel more powerful and efficient – in addition to the lower curb weight, there's a new, 310-horsepower engine – but it will also likely be more economical. GM estimates the front-drive V6 will return 25 miles per gallon on the freeway, compared to 24 mpg for the current front driver, but city fuel economy remains pegged at 17 mpg. In a move we're not entirely sold on, though, the Acadia will also adopt a four-cylinder engine, and no, it's not GM's highly regarded 2.0-liter turbo. Instead, you'll be able to order this 4,000-pound CUV with a 2.5-liter, 194-horsepower four-cylinder. What it won't be able to provide in straight-line speed, it will make up for with fuel economy. GM is wagering the front-drive, four-cylinder Acadia will net 22 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. Both engines are paired with a HydraMatic 6T75 six-speed automatic. A new All Terrain model is said to be optimized for wet, snowy and icy conditions, and its drive mode selector removes the Off Road selection in favor of All Terrain. We have live images of both the new Acadia Denali, as well as the new-for-2017 All Terrain model, direct from the floor of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. There's also a video of the full GMC press conference with reactions from our editors. Check them out. Disabled man realizes dream of driving with converted pickup truck

Tue, Sep 22 2015

A man with a devastating illness is mobile once again thanks to a heavily modified pick up truck. He hopes he can help others in his situation gain the freedom of mobility they need to lead a normal life. Chris Sauerbaum has a physical disability resulting from chronic inflammatory polyneuropathy, a form of muscular dystrophy where the sufferer's immune system attacks their nerves. Sauerbaum lost both of his legs and is bound to a wheelchair. After 11 years of trying, he finally has a vehicle that he can drive. "You might as well be driving a Lamborghini," Sauerbaum told the York Dispatch as the driver side door extended to a lift to accommodate Sauerbaum's wheelchair. "Everyone comes up and talks to you. You come out looking like a Transformer." It wasn't easy getting transportation that fit his needs. First he bought a Chrysler PT Cruiser, which wasn't large enough to handle the equipment needed to convert the car for a legless driver. In 2013, Sauerbaum and his wife Heather Sloat appealed to local businesses and friends for donations. They raised $10,000 and were able to put a downpayment on a GMC Sierra. The truck then underwent $91,000 worth of upgrades. It was completely outfitted for Sauerbaum, with a large lift to bring his wheel chair up to the driver's seat and joysticks doing the work of peddles and the steering wheel. New York's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation paid for the conversion. "Think of it as a big remote controlled car. An 8,000 pound R/C car," Sauerbaum told the Dispatch. After a week and a half of learning the controls, Sauerbaum was able to drive with confidence again. He will no long need to rely on his wife to get him two and from work, an 80-mile trip each day. Sauerbaum and Sloat hope to start a nonprofit called Drive for Independence that will assist other wheelchair-bound people with the costs of getting a converted vehicle that suits their needs. "It's just one piece of the puzzle to get people to work," Sloat told the Dispatch. Related Video: Weird Car News GMC Driving Ownership Truck Videos disabled ms

GMC Canyon will debut in Detroit

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

With the debut of the Chevrolet Colorado at November's Los Angeles Auto Show, perhaps it was only a matter of time before we saw the small truck's GMC counterpart. That time will be January, as we've received official confirmation that the GMC Canyon will be revived at next month's North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The news came in the latest issue of the Detroit Auto Show's newsletter, NAIAS Connect. The article hasn't been posted online quite yet, but it details the Canyon as one of the world production debuts slated for the show.
While we've heard rumors that the Canyon would arrive in Detroit, this is our first concrete bit of evidence. As we've detailed before, we expect the Canyon to be stylistically quite different than the Colorado, though the underpinnings will be shared. The teaser image we have above is currently our only look at the new truck. We'll hopefully have more details in the next few weeks as the GMC Canyon draws closer to its official debut.
