ok, up for sale is my mud truck project. first off this was a freinds truck which was kinda built, it was street and used off road,i bought it with the intent in using it ,it needed a bunch of

work, so i changed it all around for a off road mudder. there is a bunch of money invested. THIS RUNS AND DRIVES, 4X4 WORKS FINE, REALLY NEEDS NOTHING, i got 6 vechiles so i dont need this one.SHIPING OR HAULING IS UP TO BUYER.. ok so here is a list of all stuff

like new 42 super swampers on 15'' centerline rims

lift not sure how big it is but it is tall, at least like 12" or more

cross over steering

solid axle swap, with dana 44's, front and rear, 4.11 gears, back is fully locked

fresh 355 motor, 5 speed tranny, new clutch and flywheel, ect

block hugger-headers ,fliped, made mini stacks thru hood

after market guages, put in, oil, temp, volts, and fuel

new brakes and rotors, also rear is disc. and new stuff

all emissions, and computor stuff has been removed

all cooling is new, new 4 core rad, new duel high speed cooling fans, ect

heater boxs was removed and shaved down for added space

there is a ton im forgetting

NOW what i now it needs or should have..

i added a aftermarket sending unit for the gas guage due to it is mechanical now. anyways i added this to the fuel sender thats in there. but what i forgot to due was add the ground up thru to make the sender work. simple fix

cold air intake needs finished, got all the stuff, which i will include

if not ran for awhile fuel drains back into tank, needs a one way fuel filter added in the line

it has a cracked windshield, but for off road not a issue

NOW i no i will be asked bout it being road legal..... this depends on state laws. and puting some stuff back to legal. IT DOES HAVE A TITLE

as it no longer has a e-brake system, it would need a instrament panel put back in, which i got, i think. it will need exhaust ran under the truck as per state law, windshield, bigger fender flares, mud flaps, maybe some other things

also i got a full brushguard i will include and  some other part

2019 GMC Sierra shows off new headlights in Los Angeles

Mon, Jan 22 2018

Despite being just three weeks in to 2018, it's not too early to dub this the year of the truck. At last week's Detroit Auto Show, we saw the debuts of the 2019 Chevy Silverado, 2019 Ram 1500 and the return of the 2019 Ford Ranger. As with every new Silverado, a sister vehicle follows from GMC. Just take a look at these new spy shots of the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. These photos were taken out in Los Angeles, presumably for some warm weather testing outside of Michigan. At the Silverado's debut, GM VP Mark Reuss said there would be a significant difference between the Silverado and Sierra with this new generation. The grille on the Sierra appears to be far more upright and rectangular, contrasting the rounded look of the new Silverado. The headlights are larger and more upright. The same goes for the foglights. The profile and rear look fairly similar, though the fenders on the Sierra are more squared off. While we don't know what will rest under the Sierra's hood, expect it to share powertrains with the Silverado. That would mean updated versions of the 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 would be joined by 3.0-liter inline-six diesel. Look for the new Sierra as soon as the Chicago Auto Show next month. 5 classic trucks and their polarizing modern revivals

Sun, Mar 3 2024

EVs are helping eliminate Detroit's gas-guzzling problem. Some revivals of gas-powered classics are getting the EV treatment.  But not every revived model looks exactly like its original counterpart. We're in a new era of hulking Detroit metal, and you can thank EVs. Americans can't get enough of their big, beefy trucks and SUVs. But for many years, some of the biggest gas guzzlers fell out of fashion as gas prices rose and emissions regulations tightened. But in the past few years, some of the most iconic American truck nameplates have been brought back to life with electric motors, like the GMC Hummer. In other cases, as with the Ford Bronco, improvements in engine technology and more interest in rugged adventure vehicles made a gas-powered revival possible. Even some revivals that started as gas-powered, like the Chevy Blazer and the Jeep Wagoneer, are now getting electrified spinoffs. (Even if they don't always look quite as sleek as their original inspiration.) Here are side-by-sides of five classic American trucks and their modern counterparts. The Jeep Wagoneer 1975 Jeep Wagoneer and 2024 Electric Jeep Wagoneer SStellantis After a long wait, Jeep released its revival of the classic Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in 2020. Starting later this year, an electric version of the luxury Jeep SUV will join the Wagoneer lineup. The Chevrolet Blazer A 1973 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EVGetty Images, General Motors The Chevrolet Blazer was first rebooted in 2019 as a sporty family SUV. The modern Blazer shares zero resemblance to its boxy, off-roading older sibling, but it has still managed to become one of Chevy's more popular SUVs in recent years. The Blazer EV came later, and was one of the first models GM built on its new Ultium battery platform. The Hummer A Hummer H2 and the 2023 Hummer EV pickup truckGetty Images, General Motors Once the poster child for Detroit's big, bad gas guzzlers, the Hummer got new life as an electric pickup truck in 2021. The Ford Bronco A 1971 Ford Bronco and a 2022 Ford BroncoFord Motor Co. After a rouge group of engineers and designers inside Ford spent years trying to breathe life back into the Blue Oval's boxy off-roader, the Ford Bronco was finally resurrected in 2020 amid a rise in popularity for rugged adventure vehicles. GM planning to put its fullsize pickups on a big diet, too

Fri, 19 Jul 2013

General Motors is just coming off a complete redesign of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra for 2014, but in the US fullsize truck market, there is no rest for the weary. According to Reuters, plans are already unfurling for both trucks to drop pounds from their curb weight over the next few years, but this will unlikely be able to keep pace with the 700-pound diet targeted for the next-generation Ford F-150, a truck expected to debut late next year.
The biggest weight reduction for these trucks might not be available until the next full redesign, which will likely happen around 2019, but the article says that smaller updates could shave pounds in the meantime. Two examples given include an "aluminum-intensive" version of the Silverado that could shed 250 pounds and debut around the same time as the lighter-weight, aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford, and there is also talk of reducing weight for driveline components such as axles and driveshafts. These changes are all part of an attempt to meet strict new fuel economy standards coming in 2017, targets which will get even tougher in 2025.
