I am selling my 1991 GMC Sonoma, it’s powered by its original 4.3L V6 and automatic transmission it's a 2WD, short bed, standard cab. The truck runs good I just drove it down to Ft Myers and back with no issues. The truck is all original condition with 140,000 miles or so, the odometer stopped working in March and shows 129,000.
Tires are in decent shape I just rotated them. I've never had any transmission problems she shifts as she should.
Being an original truck keep in mind it has some issues, most are cosmetic and nothing major.
Speedometer, odometer and oil pressure gauges are not working. AC blows cold but only when the fan is on medium speed. The steering column has some play in it but it's an old truck. The glove box door is broken and the stereo head was stolen. The paint on the truck is 23 years old and has some dents and dings! She could use valve seals because she smokes a little on start up.
Bottom line is this is a great truck with a great drive train. Parts are cheap and it's good on gas. The nice thing about this particular truck is there is no exterior rot. The only spot on rust is behind the driver's seat inside the cab. It doesn't leak or use any oil.  I just did plugs, cap, wires and rotor.  Brakes are in good shape all the way around.

I’m selling the truck because I have a company car now and no longer need the additional vehicle.

Clear FL title in hand.  This truck is being sold AS IS.  There will be a $200 non-refundable deposit due within 12 hours of the auction closing.  The remaining balance will be due within 48 hours CASH ONLY to be paid by the buyer or designee.

If your Ebay rating is less then 10 please reach out to me via email prior to bidding.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.  I perfer talking on the phone to avoid any scamming.  Email me through ebay and I would be glad to give you my phone number.

Thanks
Travis

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.

2015 GMC Canyon

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

As discussed earlier today, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is a new standout in terms of midsize trucks. But the Colorado wasn't the only pickup the General Motors team brought to San Diego for us to sample. Also along for the ride was a pack of GMC Canyons, the slightly more expensive and polished platform-mate to the Chevy.
There's no question that the Canyon and the Colorado are a lot alike under the skin - almost entirely, in fact - so GMC has worked to first create some daylight between the two trucks by way of sheetmetal. This is most obvious from the front view, where the blocky and blingy GMC grille replaces the more subdued tone and shape seen on the Chevy's nose. Projector headlights with LED running lights come as standard, and, again, with the squared-off look that is typical of the brand. 16-inch aluminum wheels come stock on the GMC, too, with the 17-inchers seen on my photo truck offered as standard equipment on the top-trim SLT.
GMC considers the Canyon to be the only premium truck in the segment (which is clearly true), and the team has spent a ton of time and effort to get the interior correct to prove out that point. "Any trim that looks like metal, is metal," I was told at the product briefing, a certain indication that the company is serious about bringing a new class of buyer to a truck segment that it hopes to redefine.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
