2004 Gmc Sierra 2500 Slt Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 6.0l on 2040-cars
Iron River, Michigan, United States
2004 GMC Sierra 2500 SLT Crew Cab Quadrasteer 4WD 6.0L VortecSilver in color. Dark heated leather interior with only a minor crack in driver's side seat above power seat controls...not on the part where you sit. Loaded with climate control, multi-disc CD player, XM Sirius radio, On Star, power everything. New front ball joints and new brake line from the master cylinder to the rear calipers. New GM torque converter replaced/installed when I purchased vehicle at around 93,000 miles ($1,200 fix). Goose-neck hide-a-ball hitch installed in the center of the bed...never used by me though. Both rear brake calipers replaced few months ago. Royal Purple synthetic oil with K&N oil filter. Rhino-lining to rocker panels, inside of all doors, and bottom of tail-gate done last fall. Very minimal rust was repaired and rhino-lined before anything became a problem. The box is composite, so it will NEVER rust. Bed has black Line-X spray in bed liner. Truck spent most of its life near the Milwaukee, WI area. When I bought it from a GM dealership, they had a vehicle history report indicating an accident in 2004. Front bumper a little crooked, but don't really notice unless you're looking for it. Does not burn or leak engine oil. No current problems with it that I know of and drives real nice, I just have another truck in mind to buy. Come see it and look it over! Will get more pics of the truck when I can. This is my daily driver, so mileage will change. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. No Boss plow equipment included, nor is the toolbox, no exceptions. Successful bidder/buyer will make a deposit (via PayPal) of $1,000.00 USD within 48 hours of auction end, which will go towards the purchase price. When you come to get it and don't like it or feel you don't want it for some reason, I will refund your deposit MINUS EBAY SELLER'S FEES & PAYPAL FEES (about $200.00 USD). No exceptions! The rest of the deal will be completed through my bank, so my loan can be cleared and the truck can be signed over to you. You can send/wire the money directly to them. You will have to pick the truck up or have it picked up, I don't ship or have time to deliver anywhere. |

GM thinks Colorado and Canyon midsize trucks will lure crossover buyers
Tue, 29 Jul 2014The invitation to come out and sample product at the General Motors Proving Grounds in Milford, MI is rarely dull, and after spending this morning driving preproduction versions of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon all we can say is... under strict embargo. Sorry, America, we were as excited as many of you are to learn more about GM's new midsize truck range and take note of how they go down the road, but it's going to be September before we're allowed to share that with all of you. Here's to sweet suspense.
While we might not be able to talk about refinement or handling yet, we did find some of the product positioning and marketing statements from GMC and Chevy officials on hand at the program to be pretty interesting.
Of course, we all know that the literal competitive set for Canyon and Colorado is comprised of two comparatively ancient Japanese midsize trucks: the Toyota Tacoma (which currently owns this segment) and the Nissan Frontier. The Frontier's bones are as old as the 2005 model year, with 2009 marking the last time the truck was updated. The Taco was also launched in 2005, though it did see a freshening for 2012. The point remains that, in every facet from powertrain to dash plastics, the GM midsize truck twins are going to look positively space age by comparison when they hit the market for MY 2015.
2020 GMC Sierra makes diesel and 10-speed more available
Fri, May 17 2019The 2020 GMC Sierra full-size pickup truck doesn't look much different than the previous model, but it brings along a number of new feature updates. Specifically, certain options are now more widely available, including some powertrain options. The model year also brings about the truck's latest towing camera and some towing app updates. We'll start with the 3.0-liter diesel inline-six and 10-speed automatic, as both are more broadly available for 2020. The diesel adds the second-lowest Elevation trim level, meaning it's available in every trim except the base Sierra. The diesel is also now an option for the CarbonPro Edition AT4 and Denali, so you aren't limited to the 6.2-liter V8 for those trims. The 10-speed automatic is finally available on the 5.3-liter V8, but it's restricted to four-wheel-drive versions of the SLT, AT4 and Denali trims – lower trims retain the eight-speed automatic. The 10-speed transmission continues to be standard with the 6.2-liter V8 and 3.0-liter diesel. GMC also added new towing-related features for 2020. It has a newly-optional rear-view camera system that can show what's behind the truck's trailer, and it can project that where the trailer is on the main display, effectively making the trailer disappear. This feature was introduced in the Sierra HD. GMC also added a feature to its trailer app that lets you store and share details on your trailer setup so that it's easier for someone else to hook it up. You can even monitor and activate functions on compatible trailers with the app. There are a number of other more minor updates. Sierras can now be optioned with adaptive cruise control. The Elevation trim is available with the Crew Cab configuration. The AT4 CarbonPro Edition gets a few extra black accents compared with the 2019 version. Pricing and availability of the 2020 Sierra haven't been announced yet, though.
Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
