THIS TRUCK WAS A FORMER PORT OF AUTHORITY VEHICLE THEY PURCHASED IT NEW AND WE PURCHASED IT TO USE FOR OUR PROJECTS BECAUSE OF THE LIFT GATE ON THE REAR IT ALSO HAS AN AMAZINGLY LOW 70K ON IT!

THE TRUCK COSMETICALLY IS IN GOOD SHAPE THERE IS NO RUST OR ROT TO BE FOUND ON THE TRUCK AT ALL. THERE ARE DECALS AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE SIDES OF THE TRUCK THAT ARE REMOVABLE WITH A HEAT GUN. THE INTERIOR IS SHOWING SOME WEAR AS IT WAS USED AS A WORK TRUCK.BUT OVERALL IT IS NOT BAD.

THE MOTOR IS A 6.0L GAS AND MATED TO AN AUTOMATIC TRANS. BOTH THE MOTOR AND TRANS OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD WITH NO SMOKE OR ODD NOISES FROM THE MOTOR AND THE TRANS SHIFTS ON TIME AND HAS BEEN SERVICED NOT LONG AGO. NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS WERE INSTALLED ALL AROUND AND ONLY HAVE A FEW HUNDRED MILES ON THEM. THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE EXHAUST IS SOLID TOO.

THERE IS A POWER LIFT GATE WITH A HITCH ON THE REAR OF THE TRUCK THAT MAKES IT A LOT EASIER TO LOAD HEAVY ITEMS INTO THE BED. THERE ARE ALSO LOCKING TOOL BOXES MOUNTED TO THE BED AS WELL. IF THE LIFT GATE ISNT FOR YOU IT COULD BE REMOVED WITH LITTLE EFFORT.

THE AC,HEAT AND ALL GAUGES WORK AS THEY SHOULD. ALL OF THE LENSES AND LIGHTING WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THE TRUCK HAS PASSED NJ INSPECTION.

THIS 2001 GMC IS A REAL STRONG POWERFUL TRUCK THAT HAS GREAT TOWING OR HAULING ABILITY IT IS MECHANICALLY SOUND AND SHOULD PROVIDE YOU WITH YEARS OF SERVICE. 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE spy shots show new bumpers and tailgate

Mon, Mar 12 2018

When the new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 debuted two weeks ago, GM's truck division showed off just the two top trims, SLT and Denali. While the Denali might be the flagship Sierra, it's not likely to be the volume seller (though Denali models makes up almost a third of total GMC sales). These new spy shots show off the midrange SLE trim. It takes a more conservative, toned-down appearance compared to its brash brethren. The most obvious visual changes come at the front and rear. That big grille remains, but there are just three horizontal bars rather than the busier design from the SLT or Denali. The fog lights have been removed, too, though the C-shapped LED accent in the headlights has carried over. Out back, the SLE trim makes do without the trick MultiPro tailgate (it's limited to SLT and Denali models). It also has a different bumper as the exhaust exits just behind the right wheel. Badging on the fenders indicates that the truck has the updated 5.3-liter V8, meaning it's paired with an eight-speed transmission. The 6.2-liter V8 gets the new 10-speed auto. A 3.0-liter diesel inline-six will be available sometime down the road. GMC hasn't announced pricing, fuel economy or power ratings, but expect to see something in the next few months. GMC Sierra Elevation Edition is a dark take on a tough truck

Wed, Sep 23 2015

GMC proved that it knew how to make a mean-looking pickup with the 2015 Sierra Elevation Edition. For the 2016 model year, the company is applying that aggressiveness to the refreshed Sierra that already looks tougher than the predecessor. The result is a seriously brawny truck that hits the market in the first quarter of 2016. Still based on the Sierra Double Cab, this latest take on the Elevation Edition starts with all of the styling tweaks for the standard 2016 truck, including a reshaped grille and headlights. From there, the pickup gets monochromatic with body-color parts for the door handles, mirror caps, grille surround, and bumpers. Black, 20-inch wheels finish the aggressive aesthetic. Drivers get an interior packed with tech, complete with a six-speaker stereo and seven-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All the occupants can also stay connected anywhere with OnStar 4G LTE and a WiFi hotspot. Under the hood, the Elevation Edition comes standard with a 4.3-liter V6 making 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. A 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower is also optional. Regardless of the powerplant, both come with a locking rear differential and the choice of two- or four-wheel drive. Check out the video below for a closer look at last year's truck, then scroll just a little bit further for the complete press release from GMC. The Elevation Edition – available on Sierra double cab – has a street-smart stance, thanks to body-color moldings, door handles, mirror caps and a body-color grille surround, as well as body-color bumpers. It also rolls on 20-inch black-painted aluminum wheels and is further enhanced with new Elevation Edition badging. "The Sierra Elevation Edition offers a boldly styled pickup for customers who want a truck that looks as good as it performs," said Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president, Buick and GMC.

GMC Hummer EV First Drive Review | True supertruck, for better and for worse

Thu, Apr 7 2022

Right from the start, the 2022 GMC Hummer EV has been advertised with superlatives, mostly in reference to its specifications. GMC has even called it a "supertruck" in its own materials. And while we've received a taste of the truck before, only now have we finally got our hands on the production-spec model, and had the opportunity to drive it both off-road and on the street. What we've found is that the Hummer EV is undoubtedly a supertruck, much the same way that a Ferrari or a Lamborghini is a supercar. It totally delivers on its incredible capabilities, but there are compromises. And they're worth being aware of before plunking down the more than $100,000 a first-year Hummer will run you. That six-figure truck is the version we tested, the Edition 1, which actually rings in at $112,595. It's the only version in production for now, with lower trims coming in the next couple years. It's sold out, but many of the features will be available on the next highest trim level, the EV 3X. Among those features are the three motors, torque vectoring, “Watts To Freedom” launch mode, four-wheel steering, removable glass roof panels, 35-inch tires, Super Cruise, power rear window and MultiPro tailgate. In other words, although you can literally no longer order an Edition 1, you can still order a Hummer EV with nearly the same specification. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. We'll start where most owners probably will: mashing the throttle. No one can resist seeing what 1,000 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque will feel like. It's even a tad more torque in Watts To Freedom mode, which preemptively runs the cooling system to enable the additional twist. That mode allows the Hummer to hit 60 mph in 3 seconds, and the drama is dialed up with visual, audible and haptic cues. But even without engaging launch mode, the Hummer EV impresses and delights with its acceleration. In addition to pinning you to the seat, the entire truck squats in an exaggerated fashion. It's absurd, especially considering the truck's curb weight that surpasses a truly astounding 9,000 pounds. ThatÂ’s several hundred pounds more than the heaviest GMC Sierra HD 3500 diesel dually. Of course, that weight, as well as the nature of electric motors, means the party starts to calm down as the speed increases. The weight is noticeable in other areas, too.
