Up for sale is my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic. The truck is equipped with the "LBZ" Duramax Diesel and an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. I purchased the truck from the original owner with 6,000 miles on it. He had used the truck to go back fourth to Florida twice and then decided it was to much truck for his needs. The truck has been meticulously maintained and extremely well cared for. It has a few minor dings and paint chips, but nothing you wouldnt expect from a 7 year old vehicle. Since buying the truck I have added a 4in MBRP downpipe back exhaust. That is the only "performance" work that has been done to the truck it has NEVER had a chip/tuner installed. I had a snow plow installed 2 years ago and plowed my driveway and 2 others with it. When having the plow installed I had them set it up for the use of a straight blade plow or a V plow. I sold the plow for the truck last year so it does not include a blade. It includes the mounts and wiring. I also had Whelen Vertex hideaway clear strobes installed at the time of the snow plow. The truck has been fully detailed at least 4 times a year and washed and undersprayed after every snow event. The truck has been always parked in my garage. The oil has been changed every 5,000 miles, and fuel filter changed every 10,000 miles. The differential fluids have been changed yearly and the transmission has been serviced every other year. I just had new brakes and rotors done, 2 new wheel bearings, and 4 new tires. There is no rust on the truck besides a few minor spots on the frame. The brake lines and fuel lines were inspected and are in great original condition. The truck needs nothing and I would drive it across the country today with no hesitation. The interior is in brand new condition, the back seats were never used, and the front seats were always covered with a towel. There are no rips, or tears in the leather, they look like new. The truck has a full factory sliding and pop up sunroof. The carpets are in mint condition with no stains or tears. I have had a set of weather tech floor mats in the truck since new. I hate to see the truck go, but I am looking to down grade and no longer need a truck. Everywhere I go people compliment the condition and color of the truck. I have a clear title in hand. Please message me regarding any other questions.

Hacker jury rigs Amazon Echo into voice-controlled remote start
Wed, Mar 30 2016A lot of automakers have smartphone apps to start, lock, or unlock a connected car. Some automakers will even let you do that with a smartwatch. Then, there's YouTube user Jryanishere, who decided to use Amazon's chatty Echo voice-controlled, internet-connected information thingy. Yes, we said thingy, because we aren't really sure how else to describe the Echo. While the Echo system has received a hearty ad campaign – featuring Alec Baldwin asking Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, questions and ordering socks – we think this might be the first really useful thing we've seen it do. Using a MacBook, a Raspberry Pi, an Echo, an OBDLink plug-in, and his 4G LTE-equipped GMC, Jryanishere has basically made a voice-controlled remote-start system. Now, like so many voice-controlled things, this strikes us more of an extravagance than something that's functionally worthwhile. After all, the remote start on the a GMC keyfob isn't exactly rocket science. You can check out the Echo in action up top. Jryanishere gives a pretty thorough breakdown of how the setup works in the video above, but if you're at all into this sort of technological mischief, you'll want to watch (and check out the hilariously detailed blog explaining the job). GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
GM renders new Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon pickups
Thu, 08 Aug 2013At a series of industry seminars in Traverse City, MI today, General Motors executive vice president Dan Ammann gifted us with our first glimpse of the upcoming midsize pickup range from Chevrolet and GMC.
Just two slivers of nose are all we can see of the soon-to-be announced Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, though the teaser image does make plain that the pair will follow the styling cues (at least up front) found on big brothers Silverado and Sierra.
GM hasn't given us much in the way of detail in its ultra-brief press release that accompanied the teaser image, which is to be expected. We're told only that the pair of trucks are designed to be "capable, versatile and fuel-efficient alternatives to full-size pickups" and that production will start sometime in 2014, at the Wentzville, MO assembly center.
