**LOADED***Selling my 2008 GMC Sierra 1500, Denali (same body style as 2013 model...GM changed it for the 2014 model year). SUPERB truck with ALL THE EXTRAS, that turns heads. Tastefully trimmed out in chrome, this truck simply looks awesome, rolling down the road!  This is a full size, four door pickup truck. Great for families with FAR more versatility than an SUV. This truck has 35K original miles. You won't find a 2012 model with mileage this low! The VIN is 2GTEK638381179056. Feel free to run a carfax or auto check and check out the history on this VERY clean truck. Has endless options, including a GMC (OEM) factory backup camera, navigation, heated seats, Bluetooth, bed liner, GM cargo management system, GMC (OEM) mud flaps, running boards, power moon roof, power rear sliding window, aux input (for iPod), Pace Edwards, locking tonneau cover (this is a $1500.00 tonneau cover).  Truck is in very good condition.  That said, It's a 2008 model, so has the same road dings and scratches that every other vehicle of this age has.  This truck has never been used to plow snow, tow anything or as a work truck.

I have sold other personal vehicles on eBay in the past (feel free to check my feedback), and am happy to assist in any way that I can to coordinate shipping, if you need to have the truck shipped.  I paid cash for the truck and have the title in hand. Do your homework and see what other comparable trucks are selling for. They're all selling for more than mine, and almost all of them have higher mileage. This was a $60+K truck, when new. Pick up one that isn't close to being broken in yet, for less than half that cost! Look around at the prices on comparable trucks, whether a Tundra, F150, Silverado, Ram 1500, Titan, or other Sierra 1500 models for sale.  Feel free to call me or text me on my cell phone at 617-877-6033, if you have any questions about the truck.  Truck can be seen at my home in Salem, NH (about 20 miles north of Boston), if you're local.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.  Non-refundable $500.00 deposit must be made within 24 hours of winning bid.  All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.  This truck is my daily driver, so the miles are likely to increase a bit, by the end of the auction.

GM to unveil new SUVs at the State Fair of Texas?

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

With General Motors just having rolled out its new fullsize truck twins - the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra - for 2014, now it seems to be time to focus on its big SUVs. The Truth About Cars is reporting that the 2015 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban and 2015 GMC Yukon lineup will be making their debuts later next month at the State Fair of Texas, which kicks off on September 27.
To date, we've only seen spy shots of the new Chevy and GMC SUVs (shown above in Yukon XL guise). Based on those spies both trucks seem to be taking a different styling direction than their pickup truck counterparts - just check out the Ford-looking headlight design on the next-gen Chevys.
We reached out to GM for comment and heard back simply that there is no official announcement about the new Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon. Still, the report definitely makes a solid leap of logic, as Texas is a top market for GM's fullsize SUV lineup. It also appears that GM is still planning a separate launch for the next-gen Cadillac Escalade.

GMC goes to the dark side with Terrain and Acadia Black Edition

Fri, Mar 23 2018

GMC recognizes how many of its SUVs are customized immediately after purchase. It's not uncommon for a big SUV to be ordered in black, and then to receive a murdered-out look on top of that: black wheels, black tint, black trim. According to GMC, roughly 1 in 5 new SUV buyers gets their new vehicle customized, and to better serve those customers, GMC is now saving them the trouble of doing it aftermarket. As per GMC's statement: "Black Editions answer the specific desire for a blacked-out effect and come direct from the factory ingrained with distinct personality." Both the 2019 GMC Terrain and Acadia will be available in the special "Black Edition" from this summer on. They both feature blacked-out grilles, roof rails, mirror caps and trim. The Terrain's Black Edition, available on SLE and SLT spec, gets 19-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, and the SLT-only Acadia Black Edition gets 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents. Despite the name, the Black Editions are both available in four colors other than just black — even if those are mainly shades of grey with an option for white as well. Related Video:

Huge, pricey trucks haul jobs and profits for the Detroit Three

Tue, Feb 5 2019

DECATUR, Texas — Mickey McMaster is on his 12th pickup truck. The 61-year old farm equipment dealer in Decatur, Texas, two weeks ago treated himself to a 2019 GMC Denali for around $69,000 — a reward for long hours at work. "For me this is the Cadillac of trucks, it's a real luxury vehicle," McMaster said. "I've worked my way up to afford a truck like this and it shows that I've earned it." McMaster is the kind of customer General Motors Co is banking on as it plans to add 1,000 jobs at a plant in Flint, Michigan that will build a new generation of its largest pickups. Demand from Texas and other heartland states for big pick-ups is providing a lifeline to many workers the No. 1 U.S. automaker is laying off at plants elsewhere. The Detroit Three automakers and thousands of their U.S. workers are counting on customers like McMaster to keep buying bigger and more luxurious pickup trucks even if overall U.S. vehicle demand weakens this year, as most analysts predict. At Flint, GM will build a new generation of its heavy-duty Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierras, including luxury models that are some of the most profitable vehicles on the planet. GM, Ford Motor Co and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV's Ram division own the segment and are each doubling down with new or redesigned models launching this year. Sales of heavy-duty pickups in the United States have grown to more than 600,000 vehicles a year, up more than 20 percent since 2013, according to industry data. Prices for luxury models can easily top $70,000. GM on Tuesday celebrated the launch of a new generation of heavy-duty GMC and Chevrolet pickups at the assembly plant in Flint, Michigan, that is now building all such trucks for the company. At the same time that GM is laying off thousands of U.S. workers and planning to shutter five North American factories, Flint is hiring. The plant runs on three daily shifts, six days a week. As the new model's assembly system ramps up, the plant's capacity will increase by more than 25 percent, plant manager Mike Perez told Reuters. The Flint plant plans to add 1,000 workers, more than half of the 1,500 factory workers who have asked to transfer from plants GM has targeted for shutdown as part of CEO Mary Barra's restructuring plan. "We're bringing in 50 to 100 people every week," said Perez. Workers last week were still finishing the job of retooling the Flint factory to build the new heavy-duty trucks as part of a $1.5 billion investment project.
