Just testing the waters here to see if there's any interest in my truck. I have a new job that is going to require a much further commute so i'll need to purchase something that is slightly better on fuel. The truck is an almost fully loaded 2014 GMC Sierra SLT 4x4 with the powerful 6.2L V8. It has black leather interior with white stitching, heated seats, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, navigation with the premium Bose system, power everything, power windows, power folding mirrors, locks, keyless entry with remote start...pretty much anything you can think of. The only thing it doesn't have is the Lane Departure that GM offers, but it does have front and rear parking assist with back-up camera. I've seen Denali's currently on eBay that doesn't have near the options my truck has that cost 60,000.

It has beautiful black, professionally detailed paint. I also had it de-badged with, in my opinion gives it a much cleaner look. It also has just been sprayed with the premium Line-X bed liner that has the UV protectant in it. I bought the truck BRAND NEW and it came just like it sits. Fully equipped with a 6" ProComp lift,  20" LRG Wheels, and 35" Nitto Trail Grappler tires, 6" GM nerf bars. It also came with the programmer to recall the speedometer. There's nothing this truck needs except possibly a new owner.

It has the remainder of the full bumper to bumper GM warranty, none of the suspension was voided with the lift since it was a dealer installed option. The actual lift is also covered by ProComp's Lift Shield. So you can rest knowing that the truck and suspension is fully covered.

Potential buyers, please keep in mind that I am an individual and not a dealer, also i'm not rich, so the truck is financed through a bank

My loss will definitely be your gain!

Thanks for looking

New GMC feature reminds drivers to check for kids in hot cars

Wed, Jun 15 2016

We see the stories every summer: Dozens of children die from heat stroke every year after being left inside hot cars. GMC has introduced a feature in the 2017 Acadia in an effort to help curb the problem. Simply called Rear Seat Reminder, it alerts the driver if the vehicle suspects someone might have been accidentally left behind. GMC's alert will trigger under certain circumstances. Five chimes will sound and a warning will display if the rear doors are opened and closed within 10 minutes of the vehicle starting or if those doors are opened while the vehicle is running. The system does not sense items or people in the rear seat like the front passenger seat would to trigger the airbag. Warnings will be displayed regardless of interior or exterior temperature; while the summer months are the deadliest, leave-behind deaths occasionally occur during cold weather. Drivers should be aware that temperatures in vehicles can quickly rise to dangerous levels, even if the ambient temperature seems cool and comfortable. View 23 Photos Unfortunately, a large percentage of children are intentionally left in cars. A negligent caretaker, whether it be a parent, grandparent, or babysitter, can leave a child behind while they go to work or run an errand, not expecting any problems. Some children unintentionally trap themselves in cars while playing in the cabin or trunk. The Acadia's system is unlikely to prevent these scenarios. While we believe that GMC should be commended for making an effort to put an end to these tragedies, we're not certain how effective the system might be until driver education improves. It's also possible drivers will come submit to warning fatigue and begin to ignore the messages. That said, if this software-based solution prevents just one death, it was worth the effort. Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:

GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.
