2007 Gmc Sierra 1500 Slt Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 6.0l Vortecmax 6" Lift on 2040-cars
Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Details: 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Vortec Max Edition 4x4 Extended Cab 6.0 V8 112,xxx miles Exterior 8.5/10 (just did a full detail clay/wax/polish
truck has a nice glossy shine and is very smooth) Interior 9.5/10 6’’ Lift Kit by BDS Suspension (full suspension lift kit
retaining all original factory angles, not a body lift) KDM XD778 Monster 20’’ wheels 35’’ Toyo Open Country Tires +80% tread life left Gibson cat-back exhaust (nice tone not raspy or obnoxious) Engine/Trans tune by Vector Motorsports (better shift
points, higher RPM limit) HID 5000k low/high beam lights Remote Start Rear parking sensors Traction Control and Stabilitrak Leather heated driver/passenger seats (passenger currently
not working but replacement heating element will be included) 2 position driver memory seat with easy out DVD/Navigation with Bose audio Sunroof Truxedo soft rollup tonneau cover Rhino bed/tailgate liner Trailer brake controller Disclaimers/Known
Issues: As mentioned above the passenger heating element doesn't
work but I have the replacements for them just haven’t had time to install them;
they will be included with the truck.
Currently the front airbag sensor needs to be replaced, these are right
next to the horn on the front bumper and over time the frequency from the horn
can potentially cause the sensor to go bad, which is what happened, if I get
time I’ll replace these but if not they are very easy to do. As with any lifted vehicle there is a slight
shimmy in the sterling wheel around 60-63mph.
The truck has been aligned and the wheels/tires are balanced, if it
bothers the new buyer an option would be having a tire shop add weight bags in
the tires but that is still no guarantee the shimmy will be fixed. It’s very minor and doesn't bug me at all,
just wanted to mention it here. Selling Info: I take very good care of my truck and love this beast, I am
in absolutely no rush to sell nor do I need to.
Only reason I’m listing it is because all of the current offers I have
available for a new vehicle and I wouldn't mind taking advantage of them. This is my daily driver and for the last
three years I've averaged 20k+/miles a year, so these miles are mostly from the
highway. Stock wheels will be included
with the truck however 2 of them have a crack and are bad which is why I ended
up doing the lift kit and new wheels/tires.
If you are curious as to what I get for gas mileage, I am averaging
10-12mpg with combined city/highway driving, you could get better mileage if you
babied it everywhere if you really wanted to. On straight
highway with no traffic I average around 16-19mpg. Front brake pads were replaced June of 2013
and all other service maintenance has been done on time however its getting
close to needing a trans fluid/filter change here shortly (120k miles). If the buyer wants I can pull a full vehicle
history report as well. Pricing Info: I have searched for other 2007 Chevy/GMC Vmax trucks with
similar options and they are definitely hard to come by (searched all over the US). Here are some examples for potential buyers. Truck 1 – 2007 Chevy LTZ Vmax 111,442 miles, their price
$22,972 Truck 2 – 2007 Chevy LTZ Vmax 128,381 miles, their price
$22,000 Truck 3 – 2007 GMC SLT Vmax 125,295 miles, their price
$21,999 Hint for the bidders... (the reserve isn't set as high as those prices) |

GM renders new Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon pickups
Thu, 08 Aug 2013At a series of industry seminars in Traverse City, MI today, General Motors executive vice president Dan Ammann gifted us with our first glimpse of the upcoming midsize pickup range from Chevrolet and GMC.
Just two slivers of nose are all we can see of the soon-to-be announced Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, though the teaser image does make plain that the pair will follow the styling cues (at least up front) found on big brothers Silverado and Sierra.
GM hasn't given us much in the way of detail in its ultra-brief press release that accompanied the teaser image, which is to be expected. We're told only that the pair of trucks are designed to be "capable, versatile and fuel-efficient alternatives to full-size pickups" and that production will start sometime in 2014, at the Wentzville, MO assembly center.
GMC Hummer EV hits Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog for twice the price
Fri, Oct 29 2021This winter season, Nieman Marcus is getting into the true meaning of Christmas by offering a bunch of seriously expensive stuff in its annual holiday catalog. There's usually at least one automotive offering, and this year it's a 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 for an eye-watering $285,000. That's $172,405 more than the regular Edition 1 crab-walker, which is priced by GMC at $112,595. And what does one get for more than 2.5 times the cost of the most expensive electric Hummer? Well, hold your 1,000 horses, because this isn't just any Hummer EV Edition 1. No, it's a one-off Barrett-Jackson Hummer EV Edition 1. The interior of this Barrett-Jackson edition Hummer has been "curated" by Craig Jackson himself. And by curated, they mean it has a bunch of red trim everywhere and is garnished with a Neiman Marcus logo. Aside from that, there is nothing appreciably different about it. No performance upgrades, no special paint job. You do get an electric charging station at home, though, which might be the most useful addition to this whole enterprise. If that's not worth the price of an entire 1.5 extra Hummers to you, there's more. You get two VIP passes for the opening gala of the Barrett-Jackson auctions in exotic Scottsdale, Ariz. During the auction, you'll get access for two to Carolyn and Craig Jackson's personal skybox from where you can watch 1,500 cars trade hands. But don't get too comfy, because at some point you'll be invited on stage to receive your Hummer EV in front of a gaggle of inebriated fishing boat dealership owners. Oh, and you'll also get to bang the little auction hammer. You can pair the Hummer with other gifts in Nieman Marcus' "fantasy" catalog, like a $6.1 million dollar diamond ring. However, if you go with the $395,000 Great Gatsby-style roaring '20s party, make sure it doesn't end with the 9,000-pound Hummer Daisy Buchanan-ing any bystanders. How Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra will take on the Ford F-150 profit machine
Fri, Aug 10 2018FORT WAYNE, Ind. — When General Motors engineers were developing the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks, some of them joined public tours of Ford's Dearborn, Mich., factory to watch aluminum-bodied F-Series trucks go down the assembly line. The redesign of the Ford F-Series trucks, launched in 2014, set a new standard for fuel economy and lightweight vehicle construction. But armed with stopwatches and trained eyes, the GM engineers believed they saw problems. "They had a real hard time getting those doors to fit," Tim Herrick, the executive chief engineer for GM truck programs, told Reuters. His team did more intelligence gathering. They bought and tore apart Ford F-Series doors sold as repair parts. Their conclusion: GM could cut weight in its trucks for a lower cost using doors made of a combination of aluminum and high-strength steel that could be thinner than standard steel, shaving off kilograms in the process. These pounds-and-pennies decisions will have major implications in the highest-stakes game going in Detroit: dominance in the world's most profitable vehicle market, the gasoline-fueled large pickup segment. What's more, GM is banking on strong sales of overhauled 2019 Silverados and GMC Sierras to fund its push into automated and electric vehicles — a business many investors see as the auto industry's long-term future. The risks are high given the hits automakers have taken from U.S. President Donald Trump's trade policies. Rising aluminum prices spurred by Trump's tariffs are driving up costs on the Ford's F-Series, while rising steel and aluminum prices likewise drag on GM results. GM also has a significant risk should the United States, Mexico and Canada fail to agree on a new NAFTA trade deal, given GM trucks built at its Silao, Mexico, factory could face a 25 percent tariff if NAFTA collapses. Major profit per truck Interviews with GM executives and a tour at its factory here in northwest Indiana provide a detailed look inside GM's plan for the most important vehicles in its global lineup. These big pickups are everything Tesla's Model 3 or Chevy's Bolt electric car is not. The mostly steel body is bolted to the truck's steel frame, rather than the one-piece body and frame electric vehicles. The majority of trucks will have a V-8 gasoline engine powering the rear wheels — like the classic GM cars of the 1950s. Some Silverados will have new four-cylinder engines, but there is no electric or hybrid offering as of now.
