I Just bought this from a GM Dealership in Southern IL last month. HAS HOT HEAT & COLD AC! It was always dealer Maintained by local farmer at same Dealership for 16 years. Interior is SUPER CLEAN I cant describe how new it feels only flaw which I fixed was the seat had typical GM drivers side seatbelt cracking vinyl on seat so I put a nice layer of DUCTAPE to stop it. it was a 1 owner 1 driver truck. and over the last month I have really brought this truck back to life with a ton of new parts which I will list below. Truck runs and drives great!!! I wouldn't be afraid to get into it and drive to California tomorrow and especially since I've been averaging 20 MPG in a fullsize pickup truck. All common GM issues have been addressed so new owner will have many Worry Free years of enjoyment!
Only reason for selling is, I'm a Ford guy at heart and I got a chance to get a dream 1996 F250 4.9 I6 that I've wanted for years so that's my next purchase once she goes. Not in a hurry to sell such a great truck miles may go up a little as I drive her around town every now and then. New parts are listed as below, also way at the bottom are pictures of what it looked like when I bought from dealer and what I turned it into. Truck has typical GM Cab Corner Rust not bad and can easily be fixed. Doors are still very salvageable and bed has some rot but only on driver side? Its a great daily/work truck very solid been under it and doesn't leak a drop of anything!
Mechanical
Ran Lucas Fuel system cleaner on first tank when filled up.
Fresh Oil Change Mobil 5W-30 with Purolater Filter
New FRAM Air Filter
New Purolater PCV
Cleaned Air Box & MAF Sensor
New Cap, Rotor, Plugs & Wires
New Serpentine Belt
New STANT SUPERSTAT Thermostat and full DEXCOOL coolant flush
Professionally Fixed Common GM Right Side Manifold issue and installed new Thrush Muffler Cat back that dumps before rear axle sounds great no drone improved MPG a little and performance.
New Sway Bar End Links up front.
New Wiper Motor, Wipers, and Freshly Painted Wiper Arms.
Installed Alloy wheels I purchased from friend with only about 5K on Goodyear Wranglers with tons of tread as seen in pictures. Had them mounted and balanced then truck perfectly aligned truck does 80 down the highway with no shaking! Truck also had a matching ALLOY spare underneath.
Truck had AC Recharged, Front Brakes, Driveshaft and Bearings done about 10K ago at dealer. I saw the invoice when the dealer showed me all the paperwork but they wouldn't give me a copy kept it with trucks Jacket?
Went to buy a new battery Advanced tested mine and all levels were fine so I left it in.
Exterior/Interior
New Door Hinge Pins Driver and Passenger
NEW GMC Grille
New Antenna
New Passenger Side Mirror
New License Plate Light Wiring Harness.
New Bulbs Inside and out all Sylvania Long Life series and Sylvania Mid Grade Headlights(Was going to get Silverstar bulbs but they burn out every year)

Used Taillights from junkyard as old ones were cracked.
2 New Exterior Door Handles Drivers & Passenger
New OEM GM Front Bumper Valence

I have all receipts and documents for all new parts except that was stated because dealer not giving them to me. Has 2 OEM KEYS!!! When I bought truck had a small exhaust leak from typical GM right side manifold issue and it STILL PASSED INDIANA STRICT EMISSIONS! Like I said that has been fixed and truck is ready for a new owner with a clean Indiana Title for new owner also have copy of Original Illinois Title. There Are No Check Engine lights on and no Surprises just get in and GO!!! Starts on first try every time hot or cold! Clean AutoCheck & Carfax and very simple truck no power options so easier to fix and more reliability! Was a NON SMOKER 1 OWNER TRUCK!!!! Last Few Pics are what it Looked like when I purchased From Dealership in June, Compared to how I made it look now. Miles may go up as I may Occasionally drive it around town.

New GM subcompact SUV spied, could be a Chevy or GMC
Mon, Aug 13 2018GM's pair of subcompact crossovers have been trundling along for a while now. The Buick Encore was the first for Americans in the 2013 model year, and the Chevy Trax that was based on the Encore (an encore of the Encore, if you will) arrived for the 2015 model year. Each has undergone a mild update, but these spy photos could indicate their replacements are in the works. Or not. For starters, we can't be sure which GM brand this new SUV is destined for. Though the timing and its flowing lines could indicate Buick, the thick horizontal bars visible in the grille would indicate otherwise. The next Encore being at least related to this is at least a possibility. Making the case for GMC are those thick grille bars, the fact that it extends far below the lights, and may even rise above them, similar to the Acadia. And that rising beltline isn't that different from that of the Acadia. Arguing against the GMC idea is the Encore, which is almost always sold in GMC-Buick combo dealers. Much as the Acadia was made smaller to eliminate confusion and in-house competition with the Enclave, it's hard to see GM opting to resurrect such an issue at the bottom end of the SUV market. That means we're leaning toward this little SUV wearing a Chevy bowtie. The split grille with a large lower section and small upper section is the brand's current design language, as seen on the new Malibus and Cruzes. The shape is vaguely Equinox-like. And like Buick, Chevy also has a subcompact crossover ready for replacement: the Trax. Now, our photographer reports he's seen another subcompact testing that has Blazer design cues, but in this crossover-hungry market, we wouldn't be surprised if two similarly sized but differently styled Chevy crossovers make the grade. It's a strategy that's working pretty well for Jeep. We'll no doubt be seeing more of these disguised test vehicles milling about the country in the coming months, so perhaps we'll eventually get a better idea of what this is before more official information starts trickling out within one or two years. 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon all spied with production lights
Fri, Mar 22 2019One of our spy photographers just caught a smattering of full-size GM SUVs out testing, including the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon. Previous spy photos of the next-generation of these big GM SUVs have revealed that GM is going with an independent rear suspension design, and these shots confirm the news once again with our best look at the hardware yet. Check them out from the rear, lined up like ducks in a row to see the beefy control arms down there. This will undoubtedly give the big SUVs a more compliant ride, and should bring it back into touch with the refinement from the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. The new bits we get to see with these shots are production headlights and taillights that are shaping up to look pretty neat. Most distinguishable are the GMC Yukon's LED DRLs. These look a lot like the C-shaped LEDs outlining the headlights on the Sierra, but they have an extra LED strip on top of the C. The parts of the taillights that we can see look significantly different than that found on the Sierra, showing GM is planning on having a great deal of differentiation there. We can sort of see through the mesh covering the grille to what appears to be a classic horizontal bar style front opening. Chevy is predictably dialing the crazy LED strip design back for the Tahoe and Suburban. The parts that are lit up look a whole lot like the headlight fixtures on the 2019 Silverado. That truck uses a stack of lights with the actual headlights separated from the DRLs. We can see the same thing going on here, with the headlight up top and curved LED DRL strip sitting below. It's tough to say if the designs are exactly alike, but we expect to see an extremely Silverado-esque look once all the camouflage comes off. Chevrolet's taillight design differs from its donor truck like the GMC, showing off a curved, vertical series of LEDs out back. Once production lights start popping up like this, we know the vehicle is moving closer to its end game. A reveal sometime later this year could be in the cards for GM's next batch of full-size SUVs. It certainly needs them quick, as Ford rockets ahead with increased Expedition production announced earlier this week.
2019 GMC Sierra Denali First Drive Review | The more things change...
Mon, Aug 27 2018ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland — Canadians love their GMCs. Both anecdotal and statistical evidence supports this. In certain areas of Canada, the Sierra outsells the Chevy Silverado. But in this area of Canada, Cape Spear, the morning fog and salt air are thick. This is the most eastern point in Canada, and the most eastern point of North America if you don't count Greenland. We woke up early and drove to the coast in the new 2019 GMC Sierra Denali, hoping to catch what was promised to be an absolutely spectacular sunrise. The sunrise was a no-go thanks to the fog, turning the sky into a grey mist that melted into the Atlantic. Still, if the world had an edge, this is what it would look like. Driving in an inspiring place like this invites introspection, and since we're in an GMC Sierra, why not examine the brand's place in the world? Recall that for years, a GMC showroom was just packed with slightly more expensive versions of other GM products. Badge engineering, if you will – a dirty word in our business, applied to such notable machines as the Cadillac Cimarron, Buick Terraza, Chevy Aveo and Saab 9-7X. Things, at least on the surface, seem to be changing. GMC says it's making a concerted effort to differentiate its product portfolio from the rest of GM, but the results have been mixed. The brands were supposed to have less product crossover. There's no GMC version of the Chevy Traverse and, initially, there was no Chevy equivalent of the GMC Acadia, though the new Blazer kills that advantage. The Equinox and Terrain are still basically the same vehicle, as are the new 2019 Silverado and 2019 Sierra. At least the two trucks look decidedly different. There's still a family resemblance, but most of the bodywork has been changed. Where the 2019 Silverado adopted some curves, the Sierra stuck with straight lines. Compare things like the headlights, wheel wells and doors. The Sierra still has a massive grille and — aside from the AT4 off-road trim — packs on as much chrome as a 1958 Cadillac, but that's what customers want these days. The Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 are no different in this regard, packing lots of chrome, hard edges, and frontal areas that would give passenger trains a run for their money. At first glance, you'd be hard pressed to tell the Sierra and Silverado's interiors apart from both each other and the outgoing models. It's basically the same design, though the Sierra makes do with some slightly nicer materials.
