Hey there pick up dealers here is a super nice little shorty that i just got as a trade in on a new camaro ss , this truck is way above average, the paint is top quality, the doors shut right , it has no rust that i can see and it never did it appears. the dash is not cracked, the  interior is very original overall with a factory steering wheel, and door panels , good carpet , etc the truck has AIR CONDITIONING that works but there is  a problem because the ac comes and goes ? but it is all there . the truck has flow masters and some aftermarket wheels and tires and i think they look great. THe bed is sprayed in rhino liner, the glass is all good, the motor compartment looks great , the 454 engine idles pretty smoothe not all cammed out, it does have a intake , holley and headers, but not too radical . the trans is smoothe and quiet wth factory gears and converter , it is a great daily driver . These trucks have disappeared in this condition and are already considered collectible americana . I think this truck is worth 10 to 12 grand but i am going to sell it so bid to buy and be prepared to pay if you win . any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 . i dont know if this truck came with a big block or not from the factory but it looks factory to me . you ebay experts will know . the hood ornament is missing . and the drivers door will not lock . you can probably drive it home  but texas is mighty hot and very big . I can help you get it shipped to about anywhere at your expense. You can not find old trucks in this condition outside of the dry climate south very often any more , if you try to fix a rust bucket you will never get it this nice unless you spend a fortune  thanks

GM natural gas-powered vans recalled due to possible leak

Wed, Sep 24 2014

General Motors is recalling almost 3,200 of its compressed-natural-gas powered utility vans because of possible leaks. GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released a notice last week saying that 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana CNG vans are on recall, though no accidents have been reported due to the possible issue. The recall is specifically for vans for model years ranging from 2011 to 2014. The recall stems from a potential leak from the compressed natural gas high-pressure regulator, and such a leak could cause a fire or explosion. GM will replace the vehicles' high-pressure regulator in order to fix the problem, will do it free of charge and is instructing owners to contact Chevrolet or GMC customer service to arrange for the parts replacement. Utility vehicle makers like General Motors have pushed for fleet sales of CNG-powered vans and trucks for the past few years and have touted them for their cheaper refueling costs relative to standard gasoline, not to mention the fact that natural gas can be readily sourced from throughout North America (thanks, fracking). According to CNGPrices.com, compressed natural gas sells for about $2.22 a gallon, on average, while the AAA is pegging the average price of gas at $3.34 a gallon. NHTSA has posted information on the recall here. Featured Gallery News Source: NHTSA via Reuters Green Chevrolet GM GMC Natural Gas Vehicles CNG gmc savana

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.

OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
