The time has come for us to part with our van. It has served our family well and despite our kids reaction of "please don't sell the van" it needs to go to a new home. We have made numerous family trips in it and couldn't ask for a better vehicle to do it in. So if your looking for a vehicle that can accommodate a large family, team or Scout troop this is the van for you.
It's fully loaded and looks beautiful. Never been smoked in or had animals inside (other than Boy Scouts). The 6.0L engine provides plenty of power and does not bat an eye when you need to pass someone. Its being used as a daily driver so the mileage will be slightly different. It has a TracVision mobile satellite receiver on top that ties into your existing DIRECTV account for about $6 bucks a month. When we didn't need room for 15 we'd remove the last bench to have plenty of room for luggage and shopping trips. Even on short drives to the store the kids are asking to have the TV on. It has a ton of options to list so we hope the pictures fill in the thousand words. 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

Chevy and GMC trucks get CNG option pricing
Fri, 18 Apr 2014Chevrolet and GMC have clued us in to pricing of the bi-fuel option for the 2015 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD CNG and 3500HD CNG pickups: it starts at $9,500; we're still missing the rest of the pricing inferred by the word "starts," however. If you remember from the Chicago Auto Show introduction, the 6.0-liter V8 puts out 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque when drinking gas, 301 hp and 333 lb-ft when inhaling CNG.
Chevrolet figures that a bi-fuel Silverado HD is worth $2,000 in savings if driven 19,500 miles on CNG and 7,500 miles on gasoline in the span of a year, a recoup rate easily attainable to high-mileage fleet owners. It can be specced on double- and crew-cab pickups with single rear wheels, not on dualies.
The 2015 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana short-wheelbase passenger and cargo vans also get CNG options, starting at $10,825 for the three-tank system, and $12,090 for the four-tank system that can only be had on the cargo hauler.
