Hi. This is your chance for a rare cool blue color 2002 GMC Savana V8 5.7L Limited SE with top quality Explorer Hightop Conversion van package. It has all the Limited SE power and leather package with 1345xx miles. It has smooth automatic transmission for 7 passengers. A/C works great and it has interior light all around including the infinity light on the ceiling and lights all over the interior. This is a clean and solid van that has been well taken care of. You will be able to tell right away even from the pictures. This has been used for exclusively for family road trips having mostly highway miles. I bought it around 100,000 miles on it and I took this van to Florida, Virginia, Texas, New York, etc on many occasions without any second thoughts and worries. No pets and smoking were allowed.
Here are mechanical highlight features of this van:
New battery, new serpentine belt, brake fluid flushed, coolant flushed, good tires, new front shocks, new oil and filter, new radiator hoses, new fuel pump, and new thermostat.
Here are other highlights of this van:
19" HD TV with HDMI, RCA, PC, Component, and Composite wires ready to be hooked up to whatever entertainment media you have. These days there are so many options for video entertainment that I left it wide open for you to add. I just hook up Bluray, PS3, laptop, Game Cube, during trips. There is also wireless rear view camera installed. I find this camera very useful and necessary feature on van this size. There is can cooler/warmer and icebox in the center console.
Now, the downside:
The ABS light comes on in the dashboard and it may be a sensor issue. There is a small leak in the coolant. Although I do not see drops under the van I do need to add coolant from time to time. I just add some coolant during normal maintenance period if need. There are few cracks on the bottom plastic moldings and signs of wear from normal usage.
If you are interested and need more pictures or have any question please send me an email and we will get conversation going. I have clean title in hand and you must pickup the van, no shipping.
Thanks for looking.

GM laying off more than 4,000 workers Monday morning
Sat, Feb 2 2019According to reports from Automotive News, The Detroit News, and CNN, General Motors plans to begin laying off more than 4,000 salaried workers starting Monday morning. In a statement to AN, a spokesperson for the automaker said, "We are not confirming timing. Our employees are our priority. We will communicate with them first." We've been expecting layoffs at General Motors since November, 2018. At the time, the Detroit-based automaker announced it would seek to shed 8,100 salaried employees, shut down five assembly plants in North America, and kill off several slow-selling models. One month earlier, GM offered buyout packages to 18,000 workers and said it would seek to cut its global workforce by 25 percent. A spokesperson said at the time the moves were "proactive steps to get ahead of the curve by accelerating our efforts to address overall business performance." The cost-cutting moves are expected to save GM up to $2.5 billion in 2019 and as much as $6 billion by 2020. David Kudla, CEO and chief investment strategist of Mainstay Capital Management, referred to the impending culling as "Black Monday" and told The Detroit News that the layoffs would begin around 7:30 a.m. and continue in waves throughout the coming days and weeks. GM plans to deliver on its fourth-quarter and full-year 2018 earnings report on Wednesday. President Donald Trump plans to deliver the annual State of the Union address a day earlier on Tuesday. We expect to hear plenty more from both sides over the next several days.
Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487
Thu, Sep 8 2016This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia. And then Mike (who is still uncomfortable writing in the third person) goes on a rant about why automakers shouldn't specify which cars are aimed at women. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. GM will no longer remove parts from trucks to calculate curb weights
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Following last week's mild uproar after it was discovered that Ford and General Motors were removing some optional parts from their pickups to lower the curb weight and consequently increase the maximum payload, GM has come out and committed to a base curb weight for its upcoming Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact trucks (although it has yet to publish them) and its current Silverado and Sierra. The company will do the same for its heavy duty offerings, although those numbers have not been finalized yet.
"This will make our curb weight and payload specs more consistent with those of most other truck makers, making it easier for customers to compare vehicles," GM spokesman Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog in an emailed statement.
As GM notes - and as every manufacturer has noted since this story broke - customers still shouldn't take max payload ratings as gospel. Instead, they should refer to their truck's Tire and Load Label, like the one shown at the inset, which will offer detailed information on max payload, specific to their truck.
