Thank you for looking at my GMC Jimmy, This is a one owner adult driven well maintained vehicle, Runs and Drives Great! Interior is very clean, and the paint and body of the vehicle is almost perfect! with only 67,000 miles. everything works properly as it should, Runs beautiful, a/c is cold, power windows, power door locks, cloth seats no tears or rips, carpet are very clean. had to been garaged year round, the underneath of the vehicle is also clean, there's no sign of rust, there's no fluid leaks of any kind Oil, Trans, Antifreeze, ect. good tire's & brakes, front end tight. We've got a bright aluminum Airstream camper hitched to our rear bumper as we head up Southern California's coast because GMC says that 60 percent of all full-size pickup owners will use their trucks for towing.
Rather than forcing us to absorb its capabilities in a long-winded PowerPoint presentation, the automaker brought us to Los Angeles and handed us the keys to its all-new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. After jumping behind the wheel of a 5.3-liter V8 model, we drove up the foggy Malibu coast (locals call the soggy early-summer weather "June Gloom") and made our way to the Camarillo Airport for a towing refresher. Once completed, a brand-new 23-foot Airstream was hitched to our aft end and we were pointed towards a campground just west of Santa Barbara.
GM mulling off-road variants of fullsize SUVs
Tue, 24 Sep 2013According to General Motors, owners "just love off-roading with [its fullsize body-on-frame sport utility vehicles]," namely the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon. If that's the case, it's a bit odd that sales of the previous generation of these models with the Z71 off-road package didn't sell particularly well.
Perhaps, considering this disconnect between owner's thoughts and desires with actual sales, it's not surprising that General Motors is reportedly "considering" an off-road specific model. That means the package would include styling changes and badges along with suspension modifications and larger wheels with appropriately sized fender flares.
There's no indication if the off-road model would be called Z71 or when it may potentially go on sale, assuming it ever goes on sale at all.
2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 spied for the first time
Fri, May 4 2018It's been a big year for truck debuts. Since January, we've seen the new 2019 Chevy Silverado, 2019 Ram 1500, 2019 Ford Ranger and the 2019 GMC Sierra. Just last week, we drove the new 2018 Ford F-150 Power Stroke diesel. The Silverado, Ram and Sierra HD variants will soon follow. We've even seen a teaser for the Silverado 2500. These new spy shots give us a pretty decent look at the upcoming 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. Like the Sierra 1500, the new 2500 model looks to be more than just a Silverado with a new face. Even through the camouflage, you can see it has a grille roughly the size of a regulation football field adorned in a sea of chrome. Both the front and rear fender have some significant flares, but it's hard to tell if this is just the covering. It's difficult to tell if the truck has the new MultiPro tailgate, but expect that and the new CarbonPro carbon-fiber bed to carry their way over. We've already seen the dually version of the Silverado. The Sierra 3500 should arrive alongside the other HD variants. Expect a mix of aluminum and steel bodywork, just like the light-duty models.
