2010 Ford Transit Connect Xlt Mini Cargo Van 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Hayward, California, United States
I bought this van on the auction, It was involved in an accident but airbags were not deployed. Now am selling it for parts unless you want to fix it as it needs lots of small things here and there.
I was planning to fix it and use it as a cargo van but didnt have enough time to fix it. When I bought it drives fine but the body was in bad shape. I did try to fix the body damage myself as I was planning to use it for my work so I didnt care if it looks bad or not as long as it could do the job I wanted. Now I dont have time to finish it and am selling as is for parts. I never attempt to start the vehicle ever since so am not sure if it start now or not. As you can see on the pictures everything was removed but I still have all the inside parts it came with. this car needs a lot of small things, like doors knobs, windshield, window etc. Am not 100% on what else it needs as it was drivable when I got it. Thats all I can tell on this vehicle if you have other question please feel free to shoot me email. thanks and happy bidding. |

Ford previews new C-Max ahead of upcoming debut
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Looking at a Ford Focus? These days you can get it as a five-door hatch, a four-door sedan, or... that's all. European buyers don't even get our sedan, but they do get a wagon. And while the three-door hatch, two-door coupe and two-door cabrio have long since ended production, buyers around the world can also get the company's larger C-Max. And now, like the Focus upon which it's based, Ford is preparing to roll out a new version.
The tall wagon (or small minivan, depending on your perspective) is being treated to what Ford says is "an extreme makeover." Details to accompany the teaser image above remain few and far between, but following the spy shots we recently posted, it looks destined for some of the same visual updates as Ford rolled out on the 2015 Focus, with "even more refinement, practicality and technology."
Like the Mercedes B-Class, which is only available Stateside as an EV, American buyers can only get the C-Max in electrified form, either as the C-Max Hybrid or C-Max Energi. Overseas buyers, however, will be able to choose from a range of powertrain options and two wheelbase lengths - the longer of which boasts seven seats and the Grand C-Max name. (Remember when Chrysler did the same with its minivans?) Both are set to debut on September 17, so watch this space. After that, we'll expect to see it on display at the Paris Motor Show.
What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
