1971 Torino Cobra in the rare Silver(Light Pewter) with Vermillion(Red) interior. There were only 21 Cobras made with this color combo and it is stunning! This car is very well optioned with a 351C 4V engine, C6 automatic transmission, Shaker ram air, p/s, pdb, bucket seats, console, factory tachometer(works great) and 15" magnum wheels, all original! This car is very close to being absolutely stock, the only thing I know that is incorrect is the carburetor and distributor. The car still has the original Shaker hold down bracket, the original heat shield is still on the exhaust manifold. The car has had one repaint and the color is slightly off from the door jamb, the jamb is still has the original paint, the door sticker still looks new also. The body has only very minor rust, the floors look very solid as does the trunk. The lower qtr panels have some very minor pinholes showing and some of the door corners(see pics), all very minor. I have been driving this car daily and I love it, this car has not been screwed with and drives very tight and quiet. The engine and trans are very clean and look to have been worked on not many miles ago. The engine does have some typical Cleveland valve train noise but it is not really loud and hard to notice when driving the car. I have put several hundred miles on the car and it has not used any oil. The transmission has obviously received some work as it shifts nice and firm, anything over about 1/2 throttle and you are going to chirp the tire into second! The doors on this car open and shut very well, also there is no cracking around the door latches like you typically see on the these cars. The interior is quite presentable for an original but does have a crack in the dash pad like normal, the headliner will need to be replaced also. The front seats will need a few panels repaired but since the original comfort weave material is nice that is all I would do. The seams came apart on three of the lowers and there is a tear next to your left lower back. The rear seat is quite nice. The paint, while presentable for a driver is not perfect, it is a 10 footer with some bumps and scratches from normal use. I like it like this as it is a guilt free driver. If you have any questions and are a serious buyer give me a call at 425-308-0802 and we can discuss the car in detail.

2015 Ford F-150 enters production
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Ford has given the F-150 a dramatic makeover for 2015, switching to an aluminum body that helps reduce weight by about 700 pounds. Because the truck is dramatically different, Ford also had to change the way it makes the F-150, so we went inside its sprawling factory in Dearborn, MI, this week to see the Blue Oval's new manufacturing techniques in action.
The company has added 850 jobs at the site and upgraded its stamping and tool and die facilities. The body shop is also modernized, and it has been fitted with 500 new robots that join the structures together. The first 2015 F-150 rolled off the line on Tuesday, and the trucks will begin arriving in dealerships in December. Get a closer look at the F-150's unique assembly process in our video.
Does the new 2015 Ford Mustang have a burnout control system?
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Whether it's lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring or automatic emergency braking, most of the electronic systems we see emerging on new vehicles focus on safety. But there are some there just for enthusiasts. We're talking about systems like automatic throttle blipping for perfect downshifts, or launch control to get that textbook acceleration from a standstill. But the latest system could prove just the opposite of the latter.
Although it has given us most of the details, Ford is still keeping certain elements of its new Mustang secret. But emerging reports may have the skinny on one system which Ford is trying is darnedest to keep under its hat for the time being. That, according to unnamed sources cited by Motor Authority, is burnout control.
The system is reportedly designed to help novices execute the perfect smokey burnout - sort of like launch control, but specifically the opposite. The system could, according to elaborative speculation, lock the front brakes while spooling up the engine to optimal revolutions before dumping (or indicating the driver to do dump) the clutch. A cloud of tire smoke and a long pair of skid marks would then ensue.
Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
