- - - DESCRIPTION - - - I’m listing this 1958 Ford Thunderbird for my friend's father named Robert. He's had the car for many years, maintained and drove the car only to shows. The “Interceptor” Thunderbird Special V-8 352 Cubic inch, 4- Barrel, Carburetor, Dual Exhaust engine is tuned and runs very smooth. The correct Cruise-O-Matic (3-speed Automatic) transmission shifts smooth through all the gears. The body is in very good condition and only has some minor rust with minor chips. The stainless and chrome is all in good condition. The correct style red and white vinyl interior is in great shape and it has front seat belts. The underside of the vehicle is original. The floors are firm and strong. This Thunderbird is a great car to drive, very well equipped with factory power steering, factory power windows, and Coker Classic White Wall Tires. Note: The details were all given by the owner and not by me. How does it drive? Very Smooth and Strong, During this summer it made the 150 mile round trip to Key West with outside temperatures in the high 90’s. Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.

Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.
Xcar celebrates 100-year anniversary with Model T tribute

It's not a review, but a mostly sepia-tinged look at the car that started the mass-market adventure by taking that biblical advice to be fruitful and multiply and populate the Earth abundantly. Since it looks like Xcar is celebrating some kind of milestone, we've also included another video below of the first Xcar review we could find, covering the BMW M1, from the much more recent past - circa 2012.
