Hard top is black and has the stand Heated drivers and Passenger seats New Michelins Select shift transmission Interior color accessory Package This car was for sale at the local Ford dealer, and I would drive by everyday on the way to work, one evening I stopped in and made a deal on the car. This is the second one I have owned and they really are just fun to drive. The fun part for me is I can take a back country side road most all the way to the business, and what a great stress relief it is. I have three convertibles, the others are Buicks, I kind of like the big car ride a bit better. Hence this one can be sold. The car was completely serviced before I picked it up, so it runs and drives nice. I'll have the oil changed and the car serviced before it leaves The paint and body is in fantastic condition. The interior is the same, just a very nice condition car all the way around. I added a wind screen behind the seats, its clear and so its not really too visible, yet it does a great job at cutting the wind down in the passenger compartment. At 60-65 mph its really pretty quiet in the car with that up. I also bought a new rear cover to go over the top when its in the down position, and a nice little Thunderbird logo trunk mat. Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers

Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Ford recalling select Taurus, Explorer and Lincoln MKS models over fuel tanks
Sun, 31 Mar 2013Ford is recalling certain 2012 Taurus, 2013 Explorer and 2012 Lincoln MKS models over fuel tank concerns. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, vehicles built between July 19, 2011 and March 15, 2012 may have been built with fuel tanks that have a "marginally sealed seam" on the side. Those seams may not provide the strength necessary to protect the tank from rupture during a collision. They may also leak. The recall covers a total of 3,037 vehicles. NHTSA says that leaked fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could easily cause a fire.
Dealers will inspect the tanks and replace them as need be free of charge. Owners can expect to be notified once the campaign begins on or around April 22, 2013. You can read the full NHTSA recall notice below for more information.
Ford Fusion demand outstripping supply
Sat, 15 Jun 2013The attractive new 2013 Ford Fusion has done wonders for the brand in the highly competitive midsize sedan segment - the vehicle is up nearly 22 percent compared to last year. But that sales momentum may soon hold steady due to low inventory levels of the new Fusion across the United States.
According to a report in The Detroit News, citing automotive data and Ward's Auto, Ford currently has a 39-day supply of the Fusion. That might sound fine, but a normally healthy average is about a 60-day supply. If Ford were to stop production on the Fusion today, there would only be enough vehicles available to get through another five weeks of sales, according to the News.
Currently, Ford produces the Fusion at its three-shift assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, and will add production at its facility in Flat Rock, MI later this year. A Ford spokesperson told The Detroit News that when Flat Rock production comes online, the automaker will need to rush new stock out to the regions with the most demand for the Fusion. Ford has doubled its coastal retail market share, with huge amounts of growth in areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, the News reports.
