Hi,I have owned this car for around seven yrs.I just baught another car,I didn't really want to sell it but I just don't have the time to get it fixed up like I would like to.The mile's read a little over 93,000 miles however the odomiter has never worked scence Iv'e owned it,the speedodomiter doe's work. The transmission has issue's,one day third gear went out and shortly after, the overdrive quit,I think the computer shut it down,no issue's with first and second and reverse works fine,it will churp second gear, allways has,I run synthedick oil in the engin, motor runs strong,at times you can hear a slight lifter noise but nothing to worrie about,I put a new raideator and cooling fan and shroud in it,allso has some new front end parts however there is a sweeking noise going on,I think it may be a strut or a ball joint. No issue's with the rear end,it works very well, its a limited slip with indipendent suspension like found in the Corvette,an option not found on the Mustangs. The inside is average for its age, could use a new headliner and driver's side insert on the seat, the AC blows cold, the heater stopped working, passenger side window needs a new gear for window to work,I have a new one for it,I painted the car myself, its a single stage paint, looks okay but not showroom by no means,im keeping the stereo unless you want to give me $150.00 extra for it because it really jams, sounds extreamly good, its a Deul am fm cd with 6x9 speakers and 200 watt amp,the door speakers can stay with the car,it allso has a 40 ch cb radio that stays with the car, could stand a new cb antana though, the car is currently inspected and everything passes.I just parked it last month. The car was black from the factory,I started painting it black with orange as you can see in a couple of the pictures, thats why the wheels are painted that way,the tire's are okay to.Most peaple olny give you a week or so to have the car picked up but thats not an issue, take as long as you need,I own the land it sets on so no worrie's but atleast pick it up with in 90 days. The car is as is,its allmost 20 yrs old so don't expect a new one, there are issue's as is with any old car,if you need more picture's or have a question then I will be happy to help you.If you click buy it now, then you own it,I want full payment through pay pal unless differn't arangments are made, thankyou and have a nice day!!

New Ford Police Interceptor tech protects cops' backsides
Mon, 22 Jul 2013It was only a matter of time before law enforcement agencies would realize the potential of driver-assist technology for use in their Ford Police Interceptors, and, now that they have, those back-up cameras and radar systems won't be used just for parking, but for security, as well.
The surveillance mode system works when the camera or radar detects movement from behind the vehicle, and if it does when it's activated, an alarm will alert the officer inside the car, the driver's side window will roll up and the doors will lock, protecting the officer from an unwanted intrusion. The officer, of course, has the option to turn surveillance mode off, mainly in urban areas where pedestrians would constantly set the alarm off, and it can only be activated when the police car is in park.
Randy Freiburger, Ford's police and ambulance fleet supervisor, came up with the patent-pending idea when researching the needs of police officers and riding along with them, during which time he realized officers would be safer with an extra set of eyes watching the area behind their cars, especially at night or when they're completing paperwork, using the in-car computer or handling a radar gun. "Unfortunately, there are people with bad intentions who sneak up on police officers," he says.
2014 Ford Transit Connect configurator fires up for the whole family
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The second-generation Ford Transit Connect is almost upon us, and to get work- and family-oriented customers ready for the new model, Ford has launched a configurator for both van and wagon versions. Both body styles will go on sale early next year with the base TC Van starting at $22,000, but customers wanting side windows and rear seats will have to pony up at least an extra $3,000 for the TC Wagon.
Ford is definitely looking to get back into the family van business with the 2014 TC Wagon offering three available trim levels, two engines and the choice between five- and seven-passenger seating (with two wheelbases). Like many recent Ford products, a fancy Titanium trim level is offered, and opting for it will cost you - this trim starts at $29,000, and we were able to spec it out with a panoramic roof, tow package and front and rear parking sensors for a little over $33,000.
Businesses looking for a small, fuel-efficient work vehicle now get more options on the TC Van like the choice of split, hinged rear doors or a liftgate (with or without glass), a long wheelbase ($1,000) and Ford's CrewChief vehicle tracking system ($925). Fully loaded, this van is still costs less than the fullsize E-Series. On both Van and Wagon, the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine is a $795 option, but it is only offered on short-wheelbase models and Ford has yet to release power or fuel economy specs yet. With the standard 2.5-liter engine, the TC will get up to 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
Ford profits soar as problems mount
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Ford is doing well. It can't make enough examples of its new Fusion, it can barely make enough of the aging F-150, it's getting good brand rankings, people like its turnaround story, it's selling oodles of product and its quarterly profit numbers end in the word "billion." As other high-flying examples have demonstrated over the past few years, though, big numbers can come with problems that aren't exactly small.
Automotive News has published a good "nutshell" report of Ford's progress and problems. The Dearborn automaker's optimistic "general label rule" determination of gas mileage for the C-Max Hybrid has led to lawsuits, hybrid software updates, a downward revision of C-Max fuel economy and millions in rebates. AN notes the C-Max was the "worst-scoring model in this year's J.D. Power Initial Quality Study," but Ford will probably be happy that it managed not to be mentioned further in the study's results after last year's mediocre showing. Its MyTouch and SYNC systems, the bugbears sabotaging Ford's J.D. Power results, have also led to lawsuits, software updates, more software updates and a center console rethink. On top of that, the 1.6-liter EcoBoost in the 2013 Ford Escape that Ford called a "hero" was soon catching fire for three different reasons. And let's not even get into the troubled launch of the Lincoln MKZ.
The Automotive News piece notes that industry observers have been surprised at Ford's stumbles because everything has been looking so good. Nevertheless, there is still the issue of those billions in profits - the company is doing plenty of things, plural, right. Ford says it is tackling its problems, hiring engineers and instituting new quality control processes as part of its effort to find solutions. The test will be to see if in a year from now we begin the discussion of these issues with "Remember when Ford...", or "Problems continue at The Blue Oval."
