1966 Ford Thunderbird Base Hardtop 2-door 6.4l on 2040-cars
Brunswick, Georgia, United States
This Vehicle has about 200 miles on rebuilt 390 stock motor. It has been about 90% restored. The undercarriage and motor are about the cleanest parts of the vehicle. The paint job is shabby and needs to be redone or finished. There are a couple spots that have surface rust and there is a gallon of that color paint in the trunk to finish this color. The windows are tight going up and down and a couple of the switches are in the wrong places, need to be moved. The gas gauge is the only one thats not working properly. The tires are new and the interior is very clean. The airconditioner is all there except for one fitting coming off the compressor to connect to hoses. The clutch in compressor rattles it may need to be replaced. Very clean motor that runs like a champ, The last flaw I can think of is that one of the exhaust needs to be raised up or re ran. Hangs low. It drives great and I wouldnt be scared to drive this old classic anywhere. I have a clear title from the man got this from on a trade and books to go with the vehichle including original sales book. Any questions call 912 223 6098. I also have another one I could sale with this one that was a parts car with tons of parts.

2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
2015 Ford Mustang will tell authorities how you crashed and if you were belted [w/video]
Sat, 28 Jun 2014When the 2015 Ford Mustang hits dealers, it will be with a new batch of features that will power up Sync's 911 Assist feature, and provide an even greater degree of information to first responders in the event of an accident.
911 Assist will already make a phone call, via a Bluetooth-connected phone, should you bin your car. The automatic message to first responders is a pre-recorded blurb from Ford. With the new enhancements, though, emergency personnel can learn about the maximum change in velocity and whether the crash involved a front, rear, side or a rollover impact. 911 Assist will also send information about how many seat belts were in use and if airbags deployed, allowing more accurate dispatch of resources.
"Sync will only broadcast relevant information to save time, and it constructs a very efficient message for the operator," said David Hatton, the global project leader with Ford Connected Services. "After the introductory message, the voice line opens automatically and occupants can speak directly with the operator via Sync's hands-free functionality."
2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock
Thu, 28 Aug 2014Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."
