The real deal here:

The Landau Coupe 2 Door (22715 made), body code 63B is rarer then the Coupe 2 Door (60,552 made) and just as rare as the convertibles (9198 made). Very popular seller in 1964.

Hagerty condition 4 value $6800 to condition 3 $12,200. Good luck finding any 55-57s to build out.

This car has minimal rust and is mechanically strong. The only rust I see is under the trunk lid. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner before we bought the car at approx. 80k, and the transmission was installed at that time as well and has less than 1k on it. It's been garaged as evidenced by the tags but started right up with a fresh battery (included), we also changed out the starter solenoid and ignition switch, but it does need a relay to key start it. I don't expect the A/C works, but I haven't tried it.  There are some minor issues, but you can figure it out, you'd want to be the one working on it anyway. It sounds and smells good. You would want to change all the fluids as well.

The body is pretty straight, as you can see by the pictures. It needs however, minor bondo, some pounding out and a good paint man.

Consider the hubcaps go for $100 each (spinner type, ruby center) and are rare, non-painted fender shields (after market) will also be included. The carpet is OEM with little to no wear, the front seats have been re-stuffed. The door panels are original and show it's 50 years of age, but they are original with the cardboard backing (you can't buy those anymore), only reproductions are available for purchase if you choose to do so. I wouldn't.  I'm also including the shop manual.

This car is perfect if you can wrench and know a good body man.

The car is reasonably priced and sold in as is condition with no implied or un-implied warranties. Buyer is responsible for registration, transfer, and shipping fees/arrangements.

With all that said, I hope you can see the value in an unrestored classic for it's pure potential to carry on tradition and heritage from your generation to the next, it's an American tradition to fix up a car with your kid and this is the one you want to bridge your dad's generation to your kids generation , you can't put a price on that.

2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]

Fri, 19 Sep 2014

At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.

Ford CEO Jim Hackett reviewing the future of technology, Lincoln, overseas markets

Mon, Jul 31 2017

By Paul Lienert and Joseph White Ford Chief Executive Jim Hackett is reviewing the automaker's operations in India and other markets, as well as Ford's future product programs including plans to build a self-driving commercial vehicle in 2021. Hackett, who took over as CEO in May, has told investors he is working on a 100-day review of Ford's operations but has so far provided few details of the process, except to indicate that it is looking at the automakers' luxury vehicle strategy, the future of its small vehicles and investments in emerging markets. Ford Chief Financial Officer Bob Shanks told Reuters in an interview that the review covers a range of issues, including Ford's strategy for India. "We have a lot of work to do (as) we address issues of how to fix India," Shanks said. "Everything is on the table." General Motors in May said it would stop selling cars in India but continue to produce vehicles there for export. Shanks said no decisions have been made and noted that Ford has a larger business in India than GM did. "We are very cognizant that will be the third-largest market in the world," he said. "Some big decisions will be made," Shanks said, but he cautioned Ford may not disclose all those decisions at the end of the 100-day review. Hackett is addressing challenges that have contributed to a nearly 8 percent decline in Ford's share price this year. The review of the Lincoln luxury brand includes whether current plans will meet former CEO Mark Fields' ambitious targets for growth and revenue, people familiar with the process said. Ford has set a target of putting a self-driving shuttle into commercial ride-sharing fleets by 2021. Hackett is reviewing the investment and timing for that project, the sources said. Hackett also assessing whether to reduce and consolidate production of models such as the Fiesta subcompact and two midsized sedans that are built in multiple locations around the world, but are experiencing slowing demand. One proposal would shift production of the next-generation Mondeo midsized sedan from Europe to Mexico, where it would share an assembly line with its sibling, the Ford Fusion, avoiding the cost of retooling two plants. Shortly after he took charge, Hackett approved a proposal to shift production of the next-generation Focus for North America from Mexico to China, saving the company an estimated $500 million by consolidating two factories into one.
