Very clean example of the beautiful 62 Thunderbird. Local car that has been garaged most of its life. Original color was Corinthian White and car was repainted a slight pearl white several years ago. Paint looks quite nice and has held up very well. Body is super straight and very rust free. Interior has been redone to correct specs and looks great. Dash is original and has a couple of cracks and center console should be recovered, besides that everything else is new. Gauges are all beautiful and function perfectly. Aftermaket tach has been added nicely. Car still has the original 390 cu. inc 300hp engine that runs fantastic. Recent carb rebuild along with fuel tank flush and fuel lines replaced. Transmission was completely rebuilt very recently and the rest of the car is mechanically very strong. Trunk is very rust free and correct with the spare, jack, original fender shields, original air cleaner, original carb and factory rubber floor mats all there. Car also comes with a copy of the original window sticker from July 2, 1962. Total price was $4711.85 Overall she is a very well cared for car that runs and drives excellent.

2015 Ford Focus gets more Aston-y [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014With more and more members of the Ford brand adopting a new familial face, the Focus has been left looking like an odd man out. At the Geneva Auto Show, though, it properly rejoined the family, adopting the now familiar Aston Martin-ish grille that's proliferated throughout the range.
Overall, we're liking the refreshed Focus' look. Aside from the new grille, the headlights have been restyled and now look like elongated versions of the lamps on the Focus ST. Functionally, those headlamps are bi-xenon units, complete with an adaptive front lighting system. Out back, the rear retains the same overall look, which has been smoothed out for 2015.
In the cabin, the second-generation of Ford's much-maligned Sync system makes its debut. Sync 2, as it's called, is supposedly more intuitive than the first-gen system. Ford is promising "one-shot" navigation functions for the system. Saying "I'm hungry," should bring up a list of nearby restaurants. Of course, we'll be reserving final judgment until we can test the new system in person.

Ford is building this sweet back-to-basics SUV in Brazil
Mon, 02 Jun 2014We're use to forbidden fruit teasing us in Europe. Hatchbacks and diesels from Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT and Alfa Romeo have been a regular torment that we've grown accustomed to over the years. This vehicle, though, is one piece of forbidden fruit we aren't entirely sure we can get over. We need it.
It's called the Ford Troller T4, and if you accidentally read that as either "reborn Ford Bronco" or "Americanized Land Rover Defender," we wouldn't be rushing to correct you. It's a basic, badass SUV, and is the first new vehicle to come from Troller since Ford gobbled it up in 2007. For those with longer memories, you'll recognize this vehicle from the concept that preceded it, the Ford T-R Concept. The production model remains remarkably true to the T-R, as well as past Trollers, but it's a slightly more modern look overall, with LED taillights, contrasting colors
You'll have to bear with us on the details, as we've been forced to rely on the notoriously literal Google Translate to convert the original Portuguese into English, which means some of the details were lost along the way.
