This Red 1960 Thunderbird has been stored and not started for many years, and is in the DETERIORATED condition as shown. NEEDS COMPLETE RECONDITIONING OR RESTORATION. The last owner cleaned out his garage of two 1960 T-birds, and both are shown in some of the photos, and this item is the red one. This T-Bird was a one owner since 1963. The floors and sheet metal are in remarkably good shape and very low relative rust compared to many other regions that are less dry. Please use your own expertise and the photos as a guide, but a personal inspection in metro Denver is highly recommended, as it will require a vast amount of work to bring it back to life.
Windshield and other parts show wear/damage, and some parts may be missing or non-original. The tires are flat and won't hold air, so keep this in mind regarding shipment. Assistance may be available to move the car in the Denver metro area only, so please inquire.

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
Rowan Atkinson crashes at Goodwood Revival
Sun, 14 Sep 2014To quote Harry Hogge (played by Robert Duvall) in Days of Thunder, "rubbin, son, is racin'." That can mean some unfortunate damage to high-end racing machinery, which may be repaired easily enough in stock car racing, but when it comes to vintage racing, the stakes can be that much higher. And yet incidents do occur, like at this weekend's Goodwood Revival.
Among the many competitors taking part in the retro racing event in England was none other than Rowan Atkinson, the actor perhaps best known for playing Mr. Bean. Driving a classic Ford Falcon Sprint in the Shelby Cup event, Atkinson (pictured above at the 2012 revival) reportedly crashed head-on into another car on track.
According to reports, the two cars up spun out. The driver in between managed to avoid a pile-up, but Atkinson couldn't steer clear and hit the obstructing vehicle. Fortunately Rowan walked away unscathed (and, we imagine, in a humorous manner), but while we don't know how extensive the damage was to the Falcon, it was enough to take it out of the race.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
