Wickliffe, Ohio, United States
Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 2004 Ford Taurus SES! This car has the following options: Only 102,006 MILES! 3.0L V-6/Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes AM/FM/CD Stereo Air Conditioning Leather Interior Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof Tilt Wheel/Cruise Control Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors Power Driver’s Seat Rear Spoiler This is an excellent-running, well-equipped Taurus SES. It starts easily, and we believe all options are in working condition. The factory radio will have to be reconnected as the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in it and never reconnected the original when it was reinstalled. The body is in nice shape and no visible rust. It has a nice, clean leather interior that is in excellent shape. This is really a very low-mileage car for the year, so the lucky winner will be getting a very reliable automobile. It has a powerful, yet economical V-6 engine, so you get the best of both worlds. The tires are all in good shape, the brakes stop very well, and the air conditioning blows ice cold! This is a great car to drive as it’s not too big or too small. It’s just right. It rides and drives as well as or better than many cars of similar size! It would make a great first car for a young driver or a great daily commuter! If you’re thinking about bidding and you’re not far away, we invite you to stop by, check it out, and take it for a ride! Check out more pictures of this beautiful Taurus at the following link! 2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
180,000 new vehicles are sitting, derailed by lack of transport trains
Wed, 21 May 2014If you're planning on buying a new car in the next month or so, you might want to pick from what's on the lot, because there could be a long wait for new vehicles from the factory. Locomotives continue to be in short supply in North America, and that's causing major delays for automakers trying to move assembled cars.
According to The Detroit News, there are about 180,000 new vehicles waiting to be transported by rail in North America at the moment. In a normal year, it would be about 69,000. The complications have been industry-wide. Toyota, General Motors, Honda and Ford all reported experiencing some delays, and Chrysler recently had hundreds of minivans sitting on the Detroit waterfront waiting to be shipped out.
The problem is twofold for automakers. First, the fracking boom in the Bakken oil field in the Plains and Canada is monopolizing many locomotives. Second, the long, harsh winter is still causing major delays in freight train travel. The bad weather forced trains to slow down and carry less weight, which caused a backup of goods to transport. The auto companies resorted to moving some vehicles by truck, which was a less efficient but necessary option.
