The truck was brought in 2002 has been my daily driver since. the transmission was rebuilt 2012. the engine started making a noise in may. so i bought another vehicle. a mechanic listened to it and he believes that the timing chain has slipped and needs to be replaced.
the color is blue, the same blue you see in all the brochures ford used, has all the standard Edge options. including a a six cd player. the air-conditioning works. it has power steering, power windows and locks. the interior is in good shape thou the seats have started to have cracks in the vinyl the cloth on the seats does not have any cuts. tires are in good shape and so are the premium wheels. i'm sorry to see it go but can't afford to fix. this is a 13 year old truck it may have other issues that i'm not aware of but if the engine was not making a noise i would still be driving it. |

Latest Forza Horizon 3 car pack features a Skyline and a fast Swedish wagon

Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid. 2016 Ford Explorer embarks at the LA Auto Show
Wed, 29 Oct 2014Twenty-five years since its debut in 1990, Ford will celebrate a quarter century of Explorer models next year with the debut of a refreshed 2016 model at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19. The Blue Oval is keeping mum on hard details about the updated SUV for now, but the brand promises, "a new look, added capability and additional driver-assist technology," in its announcement.
Company marketing boss Jim Farley elaborated a little more on what to expect. "The new Explorer is still the SUV America fell in love with - a vehicle built for the perfect family adventure," he said in the release that you're welcome to read down below.
An updated Explorer is a pretty big deal for Ford's bottom line. Worldwide, SUVs and crossovers account for about 23 percent of Ford's sales, and the segment is projected to grow to around 29 percent by 2020. Ford further says that SUVs and CUVs are the world's quickest growing segment with demand up 88 percent since 2008.
