2004 Ford Ranger Xlt Standard Cab Pickup Truck 2-door 2.3l, Great Condition!! on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
Has a minor dings in back left of truck, not noticeable unless you are withing a few feet. Also, the left side of truck towards the back does have a slight dent, but I assume this can be fixed. I never bother fixing it because it's not that noticeable. Also has a slight rip in driver side seat, can be fixed again I assume. Other than that it's in excellent shape. Brand new B.F. Goodrich Longtrail TA tired with a 60K mile warranty. Also covered under Tire Kingdom to cover anything that happens to the tire up to 60K (Purchase the additional coverage) Also has liftime balance and tire rotation. And have all paperwork to prove it,. Also has upgraded audio, all SONY. Spent close to $700 for it. Still have the boxes and still have factory radio and speakers too. This was my Grandfathers and he bought it brand new and passed it down to me. Has been treated with absolute care and drives and looks fantastic. No smoking in vehicle ever.
Shipping is something I probably won't do, because I'm not sure how that works. I've never sold a vehicle on eBay for, but I'm open to offers. Would to have someone pick up or meet somewhere in Florida. message me for details or for my phone number and we can talk about the vehicle and go from there. Thank you for looking |

Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Wed, 02 Oct 2013A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes
Fri, 07 Dec 2012At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.
