You are bidding on this 2003 Ford Ranger. This truck is the perfect truck for someone who needs a light weight work truck because you will get a truck that will get you to where you need to go with little money. I bought this truck for my brother who is starting his own flooring/painting company. He hasn't really done much with the painting (That was the purpose of this light weight good on gas Ranger). In all honesty, he is not even requiring any heavy duty vans that can carry much heavier cargo (carpet). This truck has 143,500 miles, but it is still a ford truck. it starts right up. There is a hard shift in the first gear sometimes the second gear. I have sent this truck to get inspected, and the result show transmission is slipping. There is nothing my mechanic knew to work on transmissions, so I am selling the truck as is. it does drives straight, has lots of power, no noises or shakes. just simply doesn't shift properly. it isn't scary. I assume because the miles are high and the truck is in the cosmetic shape of a work truck, I will let the winning bidder deal with it. Again, this truck is drivable and you will not hurt the transmission or engine or anything like that. Cosmetically, it is a truck that is 11 years old and shows its wear and tear. it is not in bad shape at all. it is actually in good shape. The A/C is ice cold and all the knobs switches etc etc for the radio and such are in perfect working order Please bid confidently. I have 100% feedback and try to really give a descriptive detail of what the truck is rather than just list each and every little scrape. Mark LaNeve named head of Ford US sales and marketing

Ford continues to rework the positions of its top marketing executives as Jim Farley moves to take over the Blue Oval in Europe and Stephen Odell becomes head of global sales. The latest shift brings Mark LaNeve in as the new vice president of US marketing, sales, service and dealer relations, effective February 1. LaNeve replaces John Felice, who is retiring. Felice was with the automaker for the last 30 years and held his most recent job since November of 2013. In addition to coordinating marketing and sales, LaNeve's other duty is to build "innovative new digital communications and transforming the retail experience for customers," according to the automaker's press release announcing the change. He reports to both Odell and Joe Hinrichs, Ford's boss of the Americas. LaNeve has a long history in the auto industry. He spent a portion of his early career with Cadillac but eventually was hired as the CEO of Volvo Cars North America. He also headed up US marketing at General Motors for several years in the 2000s. Since 2012, LaNeve has been the chief operating officer at Global Ford Team, which is responsible for the company's worldwide advertising. There's an interesting challenge ahead of LaNeve in leading the Blue Oval's US marketing and sales in 2015. Ford was the bestselling auto brand here in 2014 but overall sales fell about 1.1 percent. According to Automotive News, the company's market share dropped to 14.9 percent, a one-percent reduction and the lowest level since 2008. You probably had the same dream when you were a teenager. Your sixteenth birthday is coming up, or Christmas, or maybe both, and all you want is a muscle car to call your own. That dream has come true for some, and one of them was none other than Edsel Ford II.
Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.
