This is a Super Clean Numbers Matching Truck / Car    Well it's both ,   You Ford guy's are going to love this how clean and straight this Ranchero is !!!

My Dad bought this Ranchero back in the 90's  from a collector , And proudly showed it off at the local car shows , We had a lot of fun

keeping his antique cars and trucks all shined up and running in Tip Top shape,  My Interests are a little different than my Dad's were,

I enjoy restoring Hit & Miss engines and antique Bull dozers , This car has been garaged since we have owned it ,and probably most of it's life !!

Dad bought it with approximately 9000 miles on it It now Has 12,035 miles  and it has NOT been around the clock either ,

We had it repainted in  2004 the original color which is sandstone beige if I remember right , It was the original factory color it has always been,

There is no rust or repairs on the body , The right side door looks as though it had a shopping cart ding in it that was smoothed when repainted

But you really have to look for the spot, The undercarriage has some surface discoloration and light surface rust , The ORIGINAL tires are showing a little cracking,

All in all this is one super straight and clean car , Doors ,Hood, Tailgate all open and close perfectly,!!!!   It drives ,shifts, brakes , handles perfectly!!!

It starts, idles, no ticks or taps and runs Excellent , It has an aftermarket radio under the dash The factory Am still in place and works, The louvered hood and faux searchlight

were on it when we bought it along with the dress up chrome in the engine compartment , I also have a set of fake lakewood side pipes  that could be worked into the deal.

Please feel free to ask any questions , I will try to answer each evening ,

Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.

Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany

Sat, 29 Jun 2013

Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
Whatever it is and wherever it's headed, you can check out in the gallery for a closer look before heading into Comments to weigh in with your best guess.

Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
