1957 Ford Ranchero with the original engine ( 292 4 barrel) which has less than 15000 miles on a complete overhaul (about 10 years ago). The trans is a 4 speed top loader out of a 1969 Galaxy which was gone through prior to installing about 5 years ago, the shifter is out of a 1964 Galaxy. This last year it had complete job front and rear, all of the front upper and lower suspension bushings replaced and alignment done, rear pinion seal replaced ( I have both rear axel bearings and seals, don't need to be replace at this time). The rear tires are 4 years old BFG, 235/15/70s very good shape, the front are BFG 205/15/70s were replaced when suspension work was done ( less than a year, maybe 300 miles). The interior was done about 10 yrs. ago, still in good shape. The truck needs some minor body work ( has minor rust on the rt. lower front fender and rocker) and a paint job, it has never been painted, original paint. Mechanically the truck is very sound, everything works including the towne and country radio, I wouldn't be afraid it anywhere.

Ford builds two-millionth EcoBoost engine

Ford's EcoBoost engine lineup is only four years old, but it is growing into an important and popular global engine. As proof of its popularity, Ford just produced its 2 millionth EcoBoost engine - a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder - which rolled off the assembly line in Louisville, Kentucky under the hood of an Escape.
Ford now offers five EcoBoost engines around the world ranging from the 1.0-liter inline-three to the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, and the automaker is expanding production of two of its engine lines to keep up with demand. Earlier this year, Ford announced that the 2.0-liter EcoBoost would be built in Cleveland, Ohio starting in 2014 and, more recently, Ford said that it will be doubling production of the 1.0-liter EcoBoost in Germany. That turbo-three will also be produced in China at a new Ford engine plant in Chongqing.

Ford supports bid for Detroit Rallycross race with Motown-minded Fiesta ST vid

As Ford continues its cheerleading effort to help bring the 2014 Summer X Games to its hometown of Detroit, MI, it has released footage of its 2014 Fiesta ST Rallycross car on location at some of the city's well-known landmarks. This video appears to have been shot around the same time as the previous X Games Detroit video was made, but it focuses 100-percent on rally car action.
With Ford Racing driver Andreas Eriksson behind the wheel, this Fiesta ST lays down some serious rubber atop Detroit's Cobo Hall parking structure, at Belle Isle and around the Michigan Central Depot. Detroit isn't alone in the bid for a three-year X Games contract as Chicago, Austin and Charlotte are also hoping to play host. The winning host city is expected to be announced this summer.
