This is a Ford probe GT V-6 with DOHC. Five speed, gets 22 to 25 mpg depending on your foot. This car is a real treat to drive, has the power and stability to handle city, country or interstate driving. Has a working sunroof so you can really enjoy the drive. Has a brand new A/C system, new tires, and the brakes are in excellent condition. The transmission just had the clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing replaced as well. The 4 brand new tires are P225-55/R16, so it hugs the road fantastically. It also had the water pump, tensioner and timing chain replaced. Than to top it all off has a new battery. Had to replace one of the CV axles as well. So as you can see I have tried to keep this jewel in excellent running and working condition.

You might ask why am I selling it, well getting old, and need back surgery, and have to sell some of my toys to pay for it. I take care of my toys, and refuse to sell a car not worthy of being on the road. The price on this care is non negotiable, even though I need the surgery, will only sell it if price is met. Ford recalls 1.9m cars and crossovers for defective airbags

The Basics: Ford is recalling a total of 1,898,728 vehicles to replace defective Takata front passenger-side airbags. This includes the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX and 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles built in North America. The Problem: The defective airbags have been linked to ruptures that can send metal fragments at the passenger, due to deteriorating propellant. Injuries/Deaths: Ford claims it's not aware of any injuries due to the problem, but rupturing Takata airbags have been linked to a series of serious injuries and deaths. The Fix: Dealers will replace the passenger-side frontal airbag at no charge to the customer. If you own one: Look out for a letter from the manufacturer to arrange service at your local dealer. The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood.
