I have up for sale my 93 Ford Probe GT. The odometer reads 129k as of right now and is the 5 speed manuel transmission. Probe is the GT model and has the 2.5 V6 engine looks very clean and has aftermarket headers and cold air intake. There have been two owners of the car not including me the second owner being a licensed mechanic who took very good car of the car and replaced the timing belt right before i purchased it. The two previous owners had the car garage kept and from what i was told the original owner never drove it in the winter. The paint looks very good considering Probes are notorious for fading only part starting to fade is the roof and only scrape is on the passenger side bumper. The interior is in excellent shape only flaw is a small cigarette burn on the passenger side seat other than the the back seats, drivers seats and carpeting looks new. The Probe is sitting on 16 inch Enkei wheels with good tires has red painted brake calipers and brake pads were replaced shortly before me purchasing the car. Has an aftermarket sony xplod radio with two 6x9 sony xplod speakers in the back. Everything mechanical and electrical has no issues and has given me no problems. This is a very solid car for the price i am asking just purchased a truck and have no need for two vehicles. The only negatives are that it needs an alignment, has two cracks in the windshield, has cracks in the side skirts, paint scrape on the bumper, the cigarette burn on the passenger side seat, and it has slack in the emergency brake line. I think i have covered everything feel free to call or text with any questions at any part of the day or night my names Dan and my number is 248-767-6784. Open to all offers do not be afraid to make one.Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

Unrestored 1969 Shelby GT500 one of many classic barn finds going to auction
Wed, 19 Mar 2014We love a good barn find here at Autoblog. We like that there's a palpable excitement and sense of mystery surrounding barn finds. Each case has its own uniqueness to it, and this latest discovery is no different: an unrestored, one-owner 1969 Shelby GT500 with just 8,531 miles on it.
In the case of this particular barn find, many of the typical questions have already been answered. For example, we know who owned it - his name was Larry Brown. He recently passed away, and as he had no wife or children to inherit the estate, the car he purchased at Pennsylvania Ford dealer in May of 1969, will be auctioned off by Ron Gilligan Auctioneers.
The car was fastidiously maintained, having never been driven in the rain. In fact, Brown never even washed it, out of fear of it rusting. According to the auction website, the last time this car saw water was probably when it was detailed ahead of being delivered to Brown. If that doesn't sound like a fanatical sense of maintenance on the part of this GT500's owner, this next part will. The interior has been treated to a similarly painstaking attempt at preservation, with garbage bags covering the seats and two layers of floor mats over the carpets. The result is a car that, aesthetically, is in remarkable shape considering it's spent so long in a barn.
Ford decides C-Max shoppers not interested in fuel economy
Sat, Oct 25 2014If you say a car – the Ford C-Max Hybrid, for example – is "fun to drive," can anyone really come up with some empirical evidence against your claim? What about calling it "versatile"? We wonder if Ford has been thinking along these lines when it talks about the green little hatch. Ford is refocusing its sales strategy for the C-Max Hybrid after the model took a sales hit on both sides of the Atlantic recently, Automotive News reports. That sales dropoff may stem from the fact that Ford has had to revise its fuel-economy figures downward for the C-Max twice since last year, most recently in June. That made the company's once-proud fuel-economy comparisons with the Toyota Prius kind of pointless. Ford is going a different route, calling the model versatile (which, to be fair it was also doing a year ago), technologically advanced and fun to drive. Since the C-Max has about 50 more horsepower than the Prius, that last part may be true. Ford representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen about the mpg-mention-free advertising direction, but we will update this post if we hear back. Sales of the C-Max Hybrid have suffered in the US. Through September, Ford sold 15,245 C-Max Hybrids, down 36 percent from last year. We shall see if a new focus away from the car's lowered mpg numbers helps. At least Ford can be pleased with sales of the C-Max Energi Plug-in Hybrid, which are up 51 percent compared to 2013.
Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.
