I bought this truck out of Phoenix Arizona two winters ago and I had it delivered up here to Mn where I have kept it stored inside. This is a 100% rust free truck inside, on the bottom, on the outside and in the bed. You have the normal surface rust but none of the rust through rot that we have back here.

The truck was running but I havent tried to start it in several years but these little 6 cylinders are very durable. I have all the parts for this truck as you can see the front bumper is not in the pictures but I have it inside the garage and it will come with the truck and the same holds true for the headlight rings.
It looks like many years ago the truck was wrecked in the front and the edge of the doorways had some work done to them. They will need a little more work before you paint. I do have a complete nose off of one of these including the posts that I will throw in for free if someone wants it when I sell the truck I could just put it in the bed of the truck.
Most carriers want to be able to drive the truck on their carrier but I wont have the time to get it running so I do have a bobcat that I can push it onto a truck if need be.
It looks like at one time someone put a good used door on the passenger side but it is a nice rust free door so I dont see any issues. The sides of the truck look like they are very nice with only a couple of small dings. I took one picture of the underside of the truck just to show you how nice and rust free the truck is.
I have a free and clear Mn title and it shows that it is a 1967 pickup truck but I dont really know how to tell what year it is so I am going to say that is right. I hear the later trucks had bigger engines in them but again I dont really know. I do know for sure that the truck with no corner windows are much more rare. I think they call these a 3 window econline.
The truck is for sale on Craigs list locally and you can also call me and talk with me about the truck if you are interested in buying it. Thanks Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722

Next Shelby Mustang to wear GT350 nameplate

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

Earlier this month, rumors started to swirl 'round the web about the next-generation Ford SVT Mustang - the halo version of the all-new 2015 'Stang seen testing in the gallery above. Originally, we heard that the Shelby GT500 moniker would be dumped in favor of "a name you're familiar with," which some sources guessed could mean a return of the Cobra nameplate.
That might not be correct. According to Road & Track, citing a report from Mustangs Daily, the new range-topping Mustang will bring back the Shelby GT350 name - currently used on an aftermarket version of Ford's Pony produced by Shelby American (take a look at our recent Quick Spin of that car). Expect the new GT350 to be quite a bit different than the current GT500 - it will be all motor, using a V8 that's derived from the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote engine (though it will no doubt have a higher displacement). The GT350 will be a lot more powerful than the next Mustang GT, which is expected to offer something like 450 horsepower, but won't be quite as absurd as the 662-horsepower GT500 we currently enjoy.
The Shelby GT350 will reportedly bow with the rest of the new Mustang range at the 2014 New York Auto Show, which coincides exactly with the original Mustang's debut at the New York World's Fair in 1964. If that seems far out, don't worry, we'll be seeing the rest of the 2015 Mustang range before then, but Road & Track reports that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show stage will be reserved for the reveal of the next Ford F-150 pickup.

Woman trades 1914 Model T in for 2013 Corvette

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

We're sure that dealers must see all sorts of interesting trade ins, but this one may take the cake. Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had a customer come in with an odd request. Tina Boyter wanted to trade in three vehicles on a brand-new 2013 Chevy Corvette. Among the hardware was 1980 Corvette, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1914 Ford Model T. While the '80 Corvette had been her personal car for years, the '78 Eldorado had belonged to Boyter's mother before she traded up to a Lincoln. The big Caddy had just 10,290 miles on the clock when it was traded in.
And the Model T? Boyter says the car was built as a racer by Ford, and that it had been a show winner for years when it belonged to her father. But, after spending the last 16 years in a museum with its fluids drained, Boyter decided it was time to shed some of the past. She walked into the dealer, laid eyes on a white 2LT Corvette with a red interior and offered to trade all three of the vehicles in on the sports car.
Why not wait for the C7? "I fell in love with that one when I walked in the door," She said. We can't fault her there.

Justin Bell makes a horrible policeman

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

If you're wondering what type of person makes a good police officer, it seems a racecar driver doesn't. Let us rephrase that: Justin Bell, a racecar driver and the host of Motor Trend's World's Fastest Car Show, recently got behind the wheel of a 5.0-liter Ford Mustang police car with Sergeant Daniel Shrubb, co-founder of DRAGG (Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti), and proved that his high-performance-driving skillset is a bit too aggressive for police duty.
While it's easy to get carried away in a Mustang GT, a patrol car driver must maintain some sort of restraint while pursuing a criminal, so as not to come off as a reckless driver to the public. We'll admit, some pursuit techniques are counter-intuitive to performance driving (stay off the gas in a lane-change exercise?), but Bell's judicious use of the handbrake can't be normal procedure.
Watch "The One With The Ford Mustang 5.0 Police Car" (yes, we caught the Friends reference too) below to see some shenanigans in one of Michigan's finest patrol cars.
