Extreme Truck F650 Pickup! Diesel, Cummins, Allison, Custom on 2040-cars
Leonardtown, Maryland, United States
This Is the mother of all Trucks. None bigger or cooler to drive. the truck is a flat out a beast!!!!! I wanted to tow multiple cars and decided that I didn't want to do that for commercial reasons in my state. The truck Is street legal and able to drive with a normal state drivers license here in Maryland "please check your state guidelines". The truck is under 11,000 pounds give or take a few, but commercial use may have restrictions in your state if you run it as a commercial truck. I use the truck for advertisement and driving around. I have had some really cool cars, and Nothing gets the attention like this truck!! If you haven't seen one of these trucks in person, you will go bananas when you see this truck. website of the company is f650pickups.com. The truck is currently wrapped and has plastic dip on the wheels. So everything is reversible so its easy to put back to stock. Just Allow a couple of days to put back to original if you choose (at no cost). Now, The truck is the best of the best, It's a FORD F650 (best body), It has the best diesel engine "CUMMINS", The best transmission "ALLISON". NO Truck offers that stock except the FORD Commercial truck line. The truck is a XLT Cab and chassis, then extreme trucks installs a bed, leather Interior, wheels & tires (BIG RIG 22.5" ALCOA WHEELS, & GOODYEAR TIRES), spray in bedliner, hitches, and other towing & brake stuff! The truck has rear air suspension, a LOUD train horn, and a awesome Presence out on the road. NO car will get the looks this thing does out there. I will park it next to the elite of elite cars or trucks!!! The truck is the same footprint as a F350 Dually truck (you will see pictures of other trucks next to mine to get a gauge of the size). It will fit in a parking space that that F350 dually would fit in. BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME TRUCK!!! EVERYTHING IS BUILT BIGGER and STRONGER!! Surprising enough the truck on the highway averages over 13mpg! local driving and sitting idling it averages just at 12mpg. This is a clean emission burning diesel. Please message me if you have any questions!!!! I'm just looking for something different and a smaller truck to haul my single car!! I'm perfectly content keeping the truck, and I will not entertain any goofy low ball offers. So if you can't afford or come close please save both our times and do not reply!! But I'm very flexible and enjoy doing deals and meeting people. You will not be disappointed!!!
"I AM WILLING TO DELIVER THE TRUCK TO ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL USA, ALSAKA OR CANADA FOR THE COST OF EXPENSES OUT AND AIRFARE BACK TO MARYLAND" I'M ALWAYS UP FOR A ROAD TRIP!!!! |

Ford Escort testing, may be bound for Europe
Tue, 01 Apr 2014There has been little news about Ford's China-focused Escort concept since debuting at last year's Shanghai Motor Show, but the no-frills sedan has shown its camouflaged face again during cold weather testing in Northern Sweden. While far from a guarantee, the test location might hint that the Blue Oval plans to market the car outside of Asia.
The Escort's black robe and zebra paint make it hard to tell if anything specific has changed about the design, but the shape of the sedan looks close to what was shown in Shanghai. Under the disguise, you can still make out the hexagonal front grille from the concept. When Ford announced the model, the company said that the design wasn't supposed to be "arrogant or pretentious," and it certainly achieved that. The engine range is still a mystery, but it seems safe to expect small, economy-focused powertrains.
A report from last year indicated that Ford may be considering broadening the new Escort beyond Asia and possibly even selling it in Europe. The fact that the company brought it to Sweden for testing could bolster that argument. A release date hasn't been set yet, but the automaker has promised 15 new products for China by 2015. The basic sedan could be on the road soon.
Marchionne open to combination with Ford or GM
Fri, Mar 13 2015At the depths of the auto industry implosion, there was widely reported talk that General Motors and Chrysler would be merged into a mighty import-beating behemoth. While such notions clearly never materialized, that doesn't mean the idea is dead. In fact, FCA boss Sergio Marchionne still welcomes the idea of a partnership with either GM or Ford. He responded positively to the idea, calling it "technically feasible," when asked about it at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Automotive News reports. "There's bantering that goes on all the time," Marchionne told AN, before quashing suspicions that a plan was in the works by adding that "nothing substantive" was going on. Our favorite black sweater enthusiast isn't quite as interested in the idea of teaming with a foreign manufacturer like PSA Peugeot Citroen, or in the rumored tie-up with Volkswagen, though. That is a shame, particularly in regards to Marchionne's shut down of a partnership with the French, although it isn't necessarily surprising – FCA already consists of eight automakers, and as Sergio told AN, there's really nothing at PSA that could help the company out. What are your thoughts? Is there an obvious project or segment that would benefit from an FCA partnership with Ford or GM? Have your say in Comments. 2014 Ford F-150 gets CNG option
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Ford is toiling away, installing heavy-duty engine components into select 3.7-liter V6s to allow them to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in addition to gasoline. That's nothing new, but now, Ford has announced that it will offer the 2014 F-150 with this engine configuration, bringing the Blue Oval's total number of CNG/LPG-friendly vehicles up to eight. The F-150 will be the only half-ton pickup on the market that can run on these gases.
Ford will charge $315 per vehicle to equip the optional engine, but the trucks won't be ready to run on the alternative fuels straight from the factory and must be upfitted with additional equipment. A Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier will install a separate fuel system for the compressed gases at a cost of $7,500 to $9,500, depending on fuel tank size. With the right-size tank, the F-150 equipped with the CNG/LPG-prepped engine can go 750 miles on one tank of gas, according to Ford, averaging 23 miles per gallon.
The practice of offering flex-fuel vehicles is gaining momentum as businesses take advantage of cheap gas. CNG can be bought for $2.11/gallon on average (per gasoline equivalent), and sometimes for as little as $1.00 in some parts of the US, Ford states. "With the money saved using CNG, customers could start to see payback on their investment in as little as 24 to 36 months," says Jon Coleman, Ford's fleet sustainability and technology manager. The automaker expects to sell a total of 15,000 CNG/LPG-prepped vehicles in the 2014 model year.
