You are looking at an 2011 Ford F550 2wd that has had minor water damage it has been in the floor only. This truck is almost new with 3300 miles on it looks new inside & out blue outside with gray vinyl inside. It has a 6.7 diesel in it with an automatic transmission the rear axle ratio is 4.88. It does have a/c cruise control on it with a cd radio in it. The bed measures 12ft on it with lots of compartments in it the front looks like for torches. The front bumper has some dents in it the rest of the truck is clean. The interior is perfect in the truck runs & drives perfect. The mileage is marked not actual but this is the actual mileage the only component in the dash we replaced was the fusebox. The transmission has been flushed & drained & a new valve body installed everything programmed & checked by the local Ford dealer & gave it a clean bill. NHTSA will investigate some Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ models for power steering issue
Tue, 07 Oct 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening an investigation into the 2010-2012 Ford Fusion, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ, the 2012 MKZ Hybrid and 2011 Mercury Milan because the agency has hundreds of complaints of electric power steering failure in these models.
According to NHTSA's data, it has received 508 complaints of the power steering allegedly suddenly malfunctioning and resulting in increased effort to turn the wheel. In four incidents, these failures resulted in loss of control and crashes. According to the reports, in some cases a power steering warning message came on as the fault occurred, and other times the system restored itself by turning off and then restarting the vehicle. NHTSA said it has also received further field report data from Ford, but that information hasn't been publicly released yet.
For the moment, there isn't a recall for this failure on these models. NHTSA is just investigating them to "assess the scope, frequency and safety consequences of the alleged defect," and the agency says an estimated 938,000 vehicles could potentially be affected.
Ladies Love It: Ford Fiesta wins Womens World Car of the Year
Thu, 25 Jul 2013It's official: A panel of female automotive writers has chosen the Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost as the Womens World Car of the Year, and it beat tough competition like the Mazda CX-5, Range Rover and Porsche Boxster S for the overall top spot.
The CX-5 and Range Rover won the SUV and Luxury Car categories, respectively, and the Boxster S laid claim to the Sports Car category, beating the runner up Audi RS5 and third place Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ (or Scion FR-S). The Audi Allroad was named the Family car of the year.
The panel consisted of 18 female automotive writers from around the world tasked with picking the best car in each of eight categories, including top vehicle overall, using criteria that women utilize when shopping for a car. That includes safety, value-for-money, aesthetic appearance, storage space, child-friendliness, ease-of-driving, color, sex appeal and environmental footprint.
