This is a great little Ford Ranger with very low miles.
It was a friend of mine who didn't want to sell it, but I finally talked him out of it. I bought it just to resale. The truck hasn't been registured since 2003. That helps to account for the very low milage. (111700 orig)
I am selling it with a Affidavit In Lieu of Title, and a bill of sale. That is all you will need to registure it in any state or Canada.
The body is near perfect with no rust. The paint is about 90% good. The hood and roof shows some of the worst finish. Paint is missing from the roof, and the hood have some fadeing and has lost it shine. Most of the rest of the body is very good. Did I say NO RUST!
The tires are like new, and it has locking hubs.
It also has new front calapers and brake pads.
A brand new radiator.
Fresh oil change and new valve covers.
The only item not working that I've found is it doesn't put out heat, so likely the heater core is plugged.
It starts a bit cold and needs to be warmed up, but it really needs to have some miles put on it. (maybe the float adjusted)
The truck drives great. Nice and straight and seems to be very tight.
Overall I think it will make a great truck for someone and offer allot of fun and good looks.

Kawei K1 pickup blatantly copies Ford F-150
Thu, Apr 24 2014The Chinese auto industry used to be looked at as a joke full of products blatantly copied from foreign vehicles. However, companies like Qoros and others show that the country's automakers have taken big steps in terms of original design. It doesn't look like every automaker there is ready to put down the tracing paper yet, though. Case in point: The Kawei K1 pickup pictured above, which is an obvious rip-off of the Ford F-150. In fact, the company isn't even hiding it. Kawei deserves a little credit for its openness. In describing the new model, it says: "No matter the black net grille and the outline of the headlamp, even if the styles of fog lamp and engine cover, it looks the same as Ford Raptor." It also admits that spelling out the model name on the hood is inspired by Land Rover. It's available with either a 2.4-liter, gasoline-fueled four-cylinder producing 141 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque (elsewhere it also lists it as having 162 lb-ft) or a 3.2-liter six-cylinder diesel with 106 hp and 181 lb-ft. Regardless of engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The trucks cost around 100,000 Yuan ($16,033). So at least the K1 is a reasonably priced knockoff. According to Car News China, the K1 is actually selling in small numbers. The company made 10,000 of them last year and even exported some to Africa and the Middle East. Kawei's factory is doubling in capacity this year to build even more. You can read more about the truck on the company's website in some very mangled English. Toyota hangs on to title of world's largest automaker for first half of 2013
Fri, 26 Jul 2013General Motors and Ford can have all the success they please, but it doesn't seem like America's two largest manufacturers are going to topple Toyota in the first half of 2013. According to Reuters, Toyota moved 4.91 million vehicles in the first six months of 2013, representing a 1.1-percent drop from the same period in 2012.
GM is on the rise, though, with a four-percent increase in global sales, to 4.85 million. Volkswagen, still sitting in third, saw a 5.5-percent jump to 4.7 million vehicles in the first half of 2013.
If this pace continues for Toyota, it'll finish 2013 in the top sales spot for the second year in a row. The manufacturer fell to third, behind GM and VW, in 2011 after earthquakes and tsunamis ravaged its production capacity.
