FORD CUSTOM CAB TRUCK WITH 16000 MILES
ON IT. I drive this truck it doesn’t
just sit around. Small enough to park in
the down town parking spaces and, big enough to tackle hauling whatever I want
to haul. You can tell by looking and
driving. All it needs is new window
crank handle on the drivers side. Window channel felt needs replaced. I have new carpet of the highest quality, (no
walmart stuff) with floor and ceiling insulation, to be installed, and, could
put in the head liner. The paint on it is about 10yrs old, didn’t like the
color red so painted it white. Paint
looks like new. No rust. 390 ford professionally rebuilt engine, runs
smooth as silk. 2 speed rear end. All
new tires, breaks and, break kits. New
lug nuts. Has a hydraulic tilt bed that works as it should. One could use the
cab on a ford truck frame with a regular pickup box or use it as is for work,
parades or to advertise one’s business as they drive it to do their business. It’s a head turner and, you will be constantly
getting the thumbs up waves. You don’t have to haul this one home. Wherever you live in the United States,
Alaska, Canada, Mexico, or South America, you can drive it there and arrive at
your destination. Seeing is
believing. I need some extra money right
now is why I am considering selling. You know the cost of fixing up rust buckets, the body work and, paint job will cost more than the reserve I have on this truck. I will advertise it locally, as
well the quality is something valued world wide. I will expect a deposit immediately after auction of 500.00 via pay n pal Balance to be paid in cash when you pick up the truck. If it is not as clean as I have advertised here you will not be obligated to take the truck. I will find someone that will appreciate it's condition as much as I have.
I will reserve the right to remove this truck from the auction should someone purchase it locally |

Ford pits Cobra Jet versus GRC Fiesta ST, worlds collide
Thu, 31 Oct 2013Racing takes on many forms in the automotive world. There are sanctioned events that are as varied and diverse as NASCAR, Formula One, Global Rallycross and drag racing, and to be good enough to win competitively in one discipline, you need to have a specialized vehicle. Or do you?
Ford decided to find out what would happen when its Global Rallycross Fiesta ST, driven by Tanner Foust, lined up against its Mustang Cobra Jet drag racer, driven by Roy Hill. In one lane, Tanner has just 2.0 liters of displacement to work with, while Roy has more than double that, at 5.0 liters. Evening the playing field a bit, Tanner has a massive turbocharger and all-wheel drive; Roy has to filter all his supercharged power through the rear wheels only.
So, who wins? We suggest you see for yourself in the press release and video below. And we're holding out hope that Tanner's challenge at the end results in another video from Ford Racing...
Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
Jay Leno takes a Surfin' Safari in a 1937 Ford Woodie Restomod
Tue, 21 Oct 2014Woodie wagons were a major part of surfing culture in the 1960s, offering coastal style and a ton of room, and they even earned a mention in the Beach Boys' classic song Surfin' Safari. This week, Jay Leno's Garage takes a look at two modern, restomodded examples of these style icons.
Unlike a lot of restomods, builder Scott Bonowski keeps these wagons looking almost completely stock on the outside, and all of the upgrades are hidden underneath the timber. You can't tell by looking at it, but the '37 Woodie (pictured above) has independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes and a Ford 5.0-liter V8 under the hood.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, the craftsmanship into the wood is astounding. Bonowski claims there are between 30 and 50 coats of varnish on this wagon. It makes these woodies as much of a piece of fine furniture as a vehicle to drive.
