1952 Ford COE Cabover Truck. Has original Flathead Engine.
The truck was a delivery truck in and around the Monument Valley Utah area. the lack of major rust can be attributed to this along with the subsequent heavy paint jobs.

there is some door lettering or logo of some sort under the yellow paint that has been painted over.

All the stainless trim is accounted for and in great shape.

the rear portion of the frame was seperated from the front but can be put back together with some fab work and plates to bolt it together. also has different (better) roller tires and wheels on front to roll on than what shows in pictures.

I have the battery cover box/step as well, just didn't end up in the pictures.

On Oct-20-13 at 15:32:07 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have been asked for more pictures, here they are. the cab floors and door bottoms etc are very solid,  the floor had and still has some red sand that has blown into it over the years, I swept most of it out before taking the pictures.

There is some rust through on the drivers side rear cab corner. that and a few dings and dents here and there a very solid truck.

the Frame was cut about 4 feet behind the cab as you can see in the new photos.  the driveline is not cut, just unbolted (its a two piece driveline.)  the Transmission is a 4 speed, with 8RT flathead v-8 ,  engine does not turn over, there is evidence of mice on top of the engine and the oil fill tube looks like it was pulled loose, it appears that maybe mice have been into the intake valley???   (probably why it does not turn over)?

Any other questions let me know,  Thanks for Looking.

Ford Australia goes miniature with Beachkhana 1.0 video

Tue, Mar 3 2015

Ken Block's Gymkhana franchise may have started with Subaru, but it's most closely associated with Ford, which the rally star joined way back in 2010. That fruitful partnership has spawned a number of Gymkhanas, and Block even showed up to help introduce the new Focus RS. To honor this, Ford Australia has come up with an adorable parody (for lack of a better word), starring the hero Sun Block. Rather than a full-scale rally Fiesta piloted by a Vegemite-munching Aussie, though, Ford of Oz has gone tiny for its tribute. Really tiny. The product is Beachkhana 1.0 – Wild on the Beaches of Australia, is a funky little stop-motion feature using tiny, 1:43-scale cars in much the same manner as Mr. Block drives his Fiesta rally car. It even pokes some fun at Mercedes-Benz's hilarious Magic Body Control ad. Check it out. Ford F-Series Super Duty earns Truck of Texas award

Wed, Oct 12 2016

Texans love their pickup trucks, which you already knew. That means the Texas Auto Writers Association and its "Truck of Texas" award is a big deal. And the latest trophy goes to the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty. The pickup truck managed to snag TAWA's award at the 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo. The award marks the 13th time Ford's F-Series has been named the pickup king of the Lone Star State. Roughly 70 journalists converged outside at the Longhorn River Ranch, just outside of Austin, TX, for the 23rd annual Texas Truck Rodeo where a host of Ford's vehicles won awards. In addition to the F-Series Super Duty being named the "Truck of Texas," the 2017 Ford Super Duty won the Heavy Duty Pickup Truck award, while the 2017 Ford F-150 with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine won the Best Powertrain award. The journalists also awarded Ford for having the "Truck Line of Texas." Ford wasn't the only winner at the Texas Truck Rodeo, as Nissan brought home five awards, including one for the 2017 Titan in the fullsize pickup category and one for the Armada in the SUV segment. Ram also won a few accolades with its trucks. The 2017 Ram 1500 won for being the most luxurious pickup truck, while the 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon won the off-road pickup truck award. Last year, TAWA named the 2016 Nissan Titan XD the Truck of Texas, but Ford's all-new F-Series Super Duty managed to keep the Japanese automaker's full-size offering at bay. For the 2017 model, Ford placed aluminum body panels into the F-Series Super Duty's body, which not only shed weight, but also make the truck stronger. Scroll down to see the entire list of TAWA's winners from the 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo. 2015 F-150 launch to curb Ford profits?

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

Ford is making a big bet on aluminum with its new 2015 F-150, and it's possible that the decision will hurt the company financially, at least in the short term. After earning a record $8.6 billion in 2013, the Blue Oval does not expect to set another record in 2014. According to Automotive News, that's "largely attributable to F Series," says Bob Shanks, Ford's Chief Financial Officer.
To retool for the new F-150, Ford will idle its Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan for 11 weeks and the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant in Missouri for 2 weeks. "3 of the 13 overall weeks occur during what normally is our summer shutdown timeframe," said Mike Levine, Ford Trucks Communication Manager, in an email to Autoblog. The extra 10 weeks will be preparing for the more aluminum-intensive construction for the trucks and will mean over 2 months of no F-150s being made. For comparison's sake, Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne just confirmed that the 200 plant in Sterling Heights, MI will be down for 30 days to retool for the new model, but obviously there are many more F-150 production variables than for the midsize sedan.
Levine notes that Ford is already running three shifts at both plants, and says the automaker has plans to ensure that there is adequate supply of the full-size pickups during the retooling process. The company does not want to suffer a shortage of the vehicle that accounted for 31-percent of its 2013 US sales and an even bigger percentage of its profits.
