1949 Ford F-1 Pickup This truck was bought from a older man that purchased the truck in 1984, and he finished the restoration in 2011. It is a rust free truck other than there was two small places in the front fenders that was cut out, new metal welded in it correctly. The frame was powder coated. His son owned a body shop, and he sprayed the truck in its original single stage meadow green just like it was done from the factory. It has all new glass, rubbers, floor mat, seat redone, new metal floor in bed with new wood under it, tailgate, original new wiring harness, lights, hubcaps, 16" tires, and much more. Engine was stripped, and repainted with new water pumps, fuel pump, and so on. Engine has 81,000 original miles, and was not rebuilt because it didn't need to be, and it doesn't smoke, and it runs so quiet you have to ideal it up just to hear if its still running. When it's cold you just have to pump the gas pedal one time, and it fires right up. Everything works on the truck even the radio. The doors, and hood all open, and close as they should. The heater has a small leak so the water was shut off with the shut off valve on the engine. The only thing on the truck thats not original is the dual exhaust which sounds real good on a flathead. Clear, and open South Carolina title that you can take to the tag office to get a new title if you live in a title state as Georgia didn't have titles until the mid 60's, and they want issue a title for it. I'm listing this truck for a friend, and will help answer any question you may have. All zero feedback bidders must contact me before bidding to let me know you are a serious bidder, if not I will have to cancel your bids. I reserve the right to end auction early at any time. Thanks Terry

Ford Focus EV's slow sales trigger massive incentives
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The Detroit News reports Ford is having real trouble moving its new Focus Electric. As a result, the automaker is offering substantial incentives in an attempt to lure in more buyers. How substantial? Try $10,750 off of a three-year lease. What's more, the EV can now be had for $37,995 ($2,000 less than its original base price) on top of an additional $2,000 cash discount to buy the EV outright - or you can opt for 1.9-percent financing if you work through Ford Motor Credit. None of which factors in various potential government incentives. Last year, Ford managed to sell a paltry 685 of the 1,627 Focus EV hatchbacks it built.
Ford isn't alone in trying to woo more buyers to its EV effort. Nissan cut the price of its Leaf by a whopping 18 percent for 2013, now down to $28,800 and built in the USA. The move followed the automaker's substantial incentives in 2012.
If you want a Focus Electric, you can now apparently get your hands on one for as little as $285 per month with $930 due at signing for a 36-month lease with 10,500 miles per year.
Motor Trend pits Subaru WRX vs. Ford Focus ST
Thu, 23 Jan 2014The Ford Focus ST has enjoyed a relatively calm, if brief, reign in the world of hot hatches. With nothing else in the class (in the States, at least) but the aging Mazdaspeed3 and Subaru Impreza WRX and the slow-selling Volkswagen Golf R, the Blue Oval's 252-horsepower five door has been the go-to vehicle for those that don't need the high-octane lunacy (and expense) of the rally bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Now, though, as the new Subaru WRX (it's not an Impreza anymore, though, neither is it a hatchback...) starts to arrive at dealers, the Focus ST appears to be under threat for the first time. Naturally, Motor Trend is here to figure out which one is the best, with another one of its Head 2 Head videos. Host Jonny Lieberman puts both cars through their paces, going above and beyond, quite literally, at the very end of the video.

3dCarbon now offering body kit for Ford Fusion
Tue, 01 Oct 2013A factory-backed body kit by 3dCarbon is now available to Ford Fusion owners who want their car to stand out from the crowd while not being too flashy. The body kit adds a more aggressive front spoiler, side skirts, rear body trim and spoiler that are, in fact, integrated quite nicely into the Fusion's already-comely styling, just as 3dCarbon claims. All Fusions with the kit also receive dual exhaust ports with the stainless-steel exhaust surrounds usually reserved for the Titanium package Fusion EcoBoost models.
A nice detail of 3dCarbon's injection-molded urethane body kit is that it has undergone crash testing to certify that it can withstand crashes up to five miles per hour. Because of this, the kit is warrantied by 3dCarbon for five years or 50,000 miles, much like Ford's warranty on its own parts. In fact, the kit is available through participating Ford dealers and can be financed through Ford Motor Credit. Buyers can purchase the kit - pre-painted or unpainted - and install it themselves, or it can be purchased with a new Ford Fusion and installed at the dealer, pre-painted to factory specifications. Of course, it can also be ordered directly from the source. Take a look at the press release below for more detailed information on the body kit, and let us know what you think of it in Comments.
