You are looking at a real True California Traditional Hot Rod! This 1932 Roadster Pickup has that "Kustom Kulture Look" with just the right amount of patina. The body is straight and solid overall, with the doors welded shut. The interior is bare bones but very comfortable (see pics). It starts, drives and stops very well. It has a 1964 Buick Wildcat 401 Nailhead bored 30 over. 445 ft pounds of torqe. 12V wiring harness conversion with GM 80 amp two wire alternator. The original Turbo Hydramatic 400 Switch Pitch transmission is hooked up to a
toggle switch on the dash and changes stall speed from 1800 to 3000 with the flick of the switch.

A lowered ride with a Z'd frame, Coil springs w/shocks, split Ford wishbones, and panhard bar suspension. 5 on 5 Torino 9 inch rear with huge Talladega finned drum brakes . Up front we have Cowl Steering, Split wishbones So-Cal mono leaf, shorty shocks, pan hard bar, early Ford spindles with Ford disc brakes. Daggo 4inch Dropped and Drilled 47" axel. The open drive line has a new drive shaft. New Firestone bias 7.10-15 wide white walls in the rear, Firestone bias 6.70-15 white walls up front. Built solid like Johnny Cash "One piece at a time". The bed and chassis started life as a 1949 dodge and is titled so. Clear title and visible Vin#. This Roadster has many new and upgraded parts, well over 18K invested! James Franco and tiger tease Ford Super Bowl commercial

Ford has just released a teaser for its Super Bowl ad, and unlike just about every other automaker, it seems that the Blue Oval is going to make us wait until Sunday to see the full spot. The teaser is, um, strange.
It stars James Franco, who believes he is Ron Riggle, the comedian, Fox NFL Sunday host and retired Marine lieutenant colonel. There's also a tiger. The vague spot has Franco claiming that "this is no ordinary commercial." You'll note on the bottom right, there's a Ford logo and the hashtag #nearlydouble.
According to Automotive News, it's part of a massive viral effort being pushed forward by Ford and its dealerships. Ford sent different teasers and "vignettes" to dealership employees and asked them to share them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, in the hopes of creating a viral effect.

Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams

As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.
