The exterior of this Ford is in good overall shape. The body
looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good
overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires
will need replaced sooner rather then later. There are no
cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear,
rock chips, etc. It has the typical
scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are
consistent with age and use on a 2008 Flat-bed, but it still has an overall
nice look.

The interior of this F-550 is in overall good shape. The upholstery
looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and
there. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show
some . The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look
to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while
taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there
is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc.
that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall
good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care

This Diesel starts right up and
idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight
down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected,
serviced and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever
you need. |

We don't have sales people on our ebay
listings, so we don't have the typical 30% to 40%
costs/markup associated with such, and we don't have huge markups,

Successful bidder must
contact us within 2 days of the close of the auction, and must
submit a deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction
end. Remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days of the close of
the auction. We accept Paypal and Credit Cards - Master
Card, Discover, Visa, Debit-Cards - FOR DEPOSITS ONLY.
For payment of balance, we accept Bank Loan checks, Wire
Transfers, Money Orders,/ Cashiers Checks, Company Checks, and
Cash. Personal checks will be accepted if arrangements are
made in advance. We are happy to work with your bank if you are
getting your own financing. We do not take Credit
Cards for the entire amount unless you make prior arrangements.
Our dealer handling fee is

Delivery/Shipping |

You have two major options
for delivery. You can either have it shipped, which we can
help arrange, or you can pick up the vehicle here at our location.
We regularly pick up people at Denver International Airport (DEN)
free of charge and bring them to the lot for pickup, as long as
you fly in during our business hours. The airport is about 35
minutes from our store, and is about a $100 taxi fare.
We provide a 60 day
temporary permit for every vehicle. This is like a 2-month license
plate.
We regularly use a shipping
company called Diamond Express Transportation. We have shipped
several hundred vehicles with them without a single problem over
the last 8 years. Feel free to call Shawn or

depending on the size of the vehicle and the distance. We'd be

vehicle shipped to you, we cannot release it for shipping until we
have all the State forms/Dealer forms signed and returned, and the
vehicle is paid in full.

FBI agents searched Ford Motor Company's headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, this month as part of an investigation into possible corporate espionage. Eight devices, along with documents, computers and financial records, were among the items seized by federal agents on July 11, according to documents obtained by The Detroit News. The FBI searched Leach's home on June 20 and seized more than two dozen items in that search, Reuters reported. Former engineer Sharon Leach, a 17-year Ford veteran of company, was fired last month, according to The News, which first reported the story. She admitted to placing recording devices under conference tables before meetings. She told Ford security she used the recordings to assist in her meeting notes. She couldn't remove the devices after meetings without drawing attention to herself, leaving the devices to record other meetings. Leach has not been charged for any wrongdoing. Former federal prosecutor and Wayne State University law professor Peter Henning told The News that using a search warrant, rather than a subpoena, shows the FBI suspects more employees could be implicated. "If it's an economic espionage case or trade-secrets case, that rarely involves one individual," Henning told The Detroit News. "So the concern is if you send a subpoena and ask for recording devices, those things can be erased." Leach, Ford and the FBI declined to comment on the investigation. You will probably remember the ads for the Ford Figo hatchback in India, the ones that showcased the extra large boot of the little hatchback by joking that you can fit three of your enemies in the trunk. One of the ads had Michael Schumacher in the front seat, obviously pleased about having Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso tied up in the back. But the other two had Paris Hilton and ex-Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi up front and three bound and gagged women in the back - in Hilton's case (shown above), it was the Kardashians.
This did not go over well, and Reuters reports that certain employees at JWT India have been fired over the matter. It is also reported that the images weren't actual advertisements, nor were they part of an actual campaign; JWT said they "were never intended for paid publication, were never requested by our Ford client." A JWT rep said the employees who created the ads did so on their own, Ford commented to Automotive News that the ads were "part of a creative exercise intended to test concepts for an advertising competition."
The problem, if the story is to be believed, is that the employees skipped the regular review protocols and uploaded their work to an ad industry site - they were found on Ads of the World. That page, like the employees, has been removed.

The '80s returned in a big way this week, as National Lampoon's, Ghostbusters, Miami Vice, and even Tetris were back in the news. While there were far more serious topics (see below), nostalgia mingled with modern marketing to put these Reagan-era favorites back in the spotlight. The '80s were alternately cold and corny at times, but their cultural touchstones can still generate big money. That's why Infiniti recreated an iconic scene from National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) for an advertisement that hawks the QX60 crossover. Actor Ethan Embry, who played Rusty Griswold in a later Lampoon's movie, pilots the Infiniti – which is serving as a modern Family Truckster – for a trip to Walley World. A blonde pulls alongside in a red Lamborghini. They flirt, and she drives on. Christie Brinkley, who played the original girl in the red sports car (she drove a Ferrari in the '83 flick), is riding shotgun and chides Embry with: "A blonde. In a convertible. Seriously?" Okay, it's hardly on the level of "here's looking at you," or even "you can't handle the truth," but it should resonate with '80s babies, many of whom are now having children of their own and moving into three-row SUVs like the QX60. Naturally, Hollywood is going back to the well, too, with a Vacation remake that premiers July 29. Meanwhile, Ghostbusters is returning next year, and director Paul Feig offered a peak at the new Eco-1 in this tweet. In the 1984 classic, the team drove a modified 1959 Cadillac. Now, it will drive a late '80s Cadillac. As expected, the announcement generated support and controversy from movie and car enthusiasts. His tweet had generated several thousand retweets and favorites in the days following the news. Though the '80s Caddy looks, uh, less elegant in comparison to the now-iconic fins and curves of the original Ecto-1, it's about the same time lapse into the past as the '59 Caddy was to viewers in 1984. Speaking of 1984, Miami Vice, which debuted that year on NBC, is seeing one of its hero cars hit the auction block, Mecum Auctions announced this week. The 1986 Ferrari used on the show will be offered for sale Aug. 15 during Monterey classic car week. The white supercar runs a 390-hp flat 12-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and was in storage after the show ended in 1989 until earlier this year. It has 16,124 miles on the odometer and is authenticated by Ferrari North America and Classiche.
