Time for this one to find a new home. I've owned since February of 2009 and have enjoyed that time thoroughly. It was a daily driver a few days a week for the first year or so but since then it's really only driven once a week, if that. So I feel it is only right for someone else to enjoy this beauty. The list of modifications is extensive and I'll do my best to list everything accurately. I'd like you to note that this car has been babied since the day that I got it. Never been to the track, never run hard, washed/vacuumed every weekend, etc...Honestly, because I never wanted to break anything. I've never been in a car that attracts so much positive attention with so little effort. When you drive by people just stare, smile, and wave - and you can't help but to smile back,it's not possible to be in this car and not be happy. The sound alone will make you the envy of your friends and family. You can hear the rumble from blocks away.

- As far as the body goes, I'd say that it is better than average but not great. It has a few small rust spots that never really bothered me, so I never did anything with them.
- It could use a stiffer set of valve springs. It doesn't like to be revved much past 5,500 RPMs. This does NOT hinder the drivability whatsoever. Again, I never really revved it out, so it was never an issue for me
- The interior is in great shape when compared to others of the same age but the drivers seat does show some wear
- When it rains very hard a few drops of water may come through the front of the sunroof. It does not happen all of the time. This is a common problem with these cars.
- Whoever put the headliner in before I owned it did not do a great job.
- Needs a new set of rear tires
- Leaks a few drops of oil from rear main seal. This is of no concern, literally every foxbody I've seen does this. They say it's just marking its territory.
- You are welcome to come look at the car in person if you'd like, however, being a financial planner, my hours are not quite traditional. It will have to be something scheduled.
- If you'd like to go on a test-drive I will take you on one with ME driving unless you have cash in hand. I don't mean this to offend anyone in any way, but I'm sure that you would agree that I have to cover myself.
- If you would like to talk to me by phone, message me and I'll reply with my cell number.
- The reserve is set at $6,000
- A NONREFUNDABLE $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.

Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit
Mon, May 5 2014If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models. The display opened on Sunday with the Mustang Madness spectacular and will run for the next six months, but if you're not heading to Southern California within the coming half-year then you can scope out all the action in our live gallery of photos above.
