I purchased this Boss brand new on 10/2012 I seeked a no option Pref White out in the New England area and found this one about 120 miles away in Mass I took this car home and didn't put any miles on it til spring of '13 I changed the shifter to the Ford Racing shifter for better gear shifting M-7219 MGTB also Installed Ford Racing lowering springs M-5300-T for better ride and handling I removed restricter side exhaust plates and added the GT500 valance and Ford Racing dual tipped exhaust M-5230-MSVTLB The motor is STOCK with track key installed, never flashed with aftermarket tune I took off tires and had the wheels powder coated flat black and reinstalled a better Continental D/W extreme tire This past summer I purchased the Paul Brown Tiger Racing Hood and had it painted in the scheme shown, Its the only scheme as my painter reversed stenciled it for precision lines, very exotic looking in person, I also copied the hood pin system from the Continental GT cars Pins are from Watson Racing plugs are welded in radiator frame The splitter is the Ford Racing Laguna Seca splitter M-16601-MBA and also has Ford Racing Brake ducts

Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest

Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.

Ken Block's Gymkhana 8 to feature Dubai Police cars?

Yesterday we showed you the shiny Ford Fiesta that Ken Block will slide, spin, and hoon through the next Gymkhana video. In case the image above isn't clear, that video will drop at midnight EST on February 30th on the Ford Performance YouTube channel. We don't know all the entire premise of the video yet, but this Tweet from the man himself reveals that the video will be set in Dubai. Block is standing on the Fiesta we saw yesterday, and arrayed behind him are a handful of those famous Dubai Police cars you're probably familiar with. The force has a fleet of sportscars and supercars, and the purpose is outreach and goodwill among its citizenry, not necessarily the pursuit of criminals. This content is hosted by a third party. From left to right, we can see a Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911, what looks to be a Nissan GT-R obscured by Block's Fiesta, a McLaren (likely a 650S), Ford Mustang, and a Ferrari 599 of some ilk. Will they take part? Maybe Block will try and run from what might be the most horsepower-intensive police fleet in the world.
