2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca 2300 Miles on 2040-cars
Troy, Alabama, United States
Extremely clean 2,300 mile 2013 BOSS 302 LAGUNA SECA!! Original owner, non-smoker, kept in garage with car cover, no paint work nor any damage ever. This is a very rare vehicle with only 750 being produced in 2013, this car is #509. In my opinion the 2013's are the best year to have of the two year run because they have better color choices and not all the "wild" stripes and wheels. This is by far the best of the 3 Mustangs I have owned and almost certainly will be a collectible. Look on Autotrader at the prices of these cars! Collector kit mailed from Ford, both keys, manuals, Boss 302 car cover, and window sticker also included. Don't miss out!! Text or call Mike @ 334-372-2178. I purchased this vehicle new @ Southwest Ford in Dallas, TX. The car has been tracked 2 times @ Barber Motor Sports in Birmingham, AL, which was an absolute blast! This car is very fast and handles great, even surprised my instructor. Only Motorcraft fully synthetic oil was used and changed after each track-day event. Ford requires a particular certification on the recommended oil for Boss Mustangs and only Motorcraft and a couple of other oil manufacturers offer this certification. The only mods I have made are: MGW shifter installed because the OEM is terrible and in my opinion MGW has the best product you can buy, White-line 27mm adjustable rear sway-bar, mild Eibach black springs dropped .6" on ft & 1.0" rear, nice custom Boss 302R oil catch can that is installed near battery with NO drilled holes, using existing holes. Steeda heavy-duty upper strut mounts for camber adjustment. All of the OEM take-off parts are included with exception of the shifter ball due to me destroying it when it was removed....sorry. |

Ford Mustang pinball machine has supple wrist, plays by sense of smell [w/video]
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Ford didn't have anything major to show off at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, so it seems it instead opted to have some fun - it brought a row of pinball machines to the show. Yes, pinball machines.
We originally told you about the Stern Pinball Ford Mustang machine a few days ago, and as day two of the Chicago show is a bit of a slow one, we opted to head to the show floor and get some snaps of the bank of new machines. Not surprisingly, there's plenty for the Mustang fan in each of these machines, ranging frond different models, to logos to a full model.
Take a look below for our full gallery of live shots, available up top. Then head below for our original gallery of stock images, along with a video and press release on the new machines.
Report: GM struggling to market turbo technology
Tue, 20 Apr 2010In the automotive realm, marketing can sometimes prove just as important as the actual product. Take, for instance, Ford's well regarded EcoBoost technology, which couples turbocharging with direct injection to produce more horsepower and reduce fuel consumption. Would it surprise you to hear that General Motors has had similar technology on the market for over three years?
It's true. GM's first turbocharged, direct injected powerplants hit the market for the 2007 model. The 2.0-liter Ecotec mills put down an impressive 260 horsepower and a matching 260 pound-feet of torque, and they were lauded by the press in the engine bays of the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Chevrolet Cobalt SS and Chevrolet HHR SS. But few people outside a core group of enthusiasts actually remember this fact.
Says Uwe Grebe, executive director of GM's global advanced engineering, "We didn't have a badge and say, 'This is the most important thing we will put on all our brochures.'" Ford, however, did just that, and it's EcoBoost engines are right at the tips of all our tongues when we discuss today's most advanced powerplants. So, how does The General fix its mistake?
Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]
Wed, Jan 14 2015Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show
